Re. The horse and the infant post, I can't remember the specifics of the Astyanax prophecy but the gods will absolutely snitch on stuff. Like, the only reason Oedipus ever even found out that he'd done the whole prophesied killing his dad and marrying his mom thing was bc the Gods set stuff into motion to make that known. (And also it wouldn't have happened if no one had heard the prophecy in the first place, but that's maybe a different issue).

But basically yeah the Greek pantheon were bitches who snitch on stuff
