Suppose Dumbledore doesn't put on the cursed ring. He doesn't find it, he brings someone along who grabs it himself, or just straight up resists the temptation. What changes? How would they save Draco? What would Snape do when faced with the Unbreakable Vow? Would he try to weasel out of it? Would he even succeed? What would Dumbledore do?

It's such an interesting scenario, in that it's a relatively minor change that changes a lot of events.

~I know I’m probably asking for too much....BUT what if we created a mumu that’s on the harry potter universe (either students or professors in Hogwarts-or any other kind of magical occupation) and each one of us is playing four different characters: each being in a different hogwarts house. This way all four of your characters can interact with all four of mine and a lot of dynamics could be created. Just from the top of my head:

just the right gryffindor x slytherin rival plot 

ravenclaws studying together

purebloods x muggleborns angst dynamic

cute friendships between all the houses really(but gryffindors x huffepuffs would be SO cute)

All in all we don’t have a settled endgame and since everyone is interacting with everyone ANYTHING can happen. {who knows I’m a muse whore, we can have professors and students in the same mumu and everything will go nuts with playing 8 characters each..AGAIN it’s too much i know}

I am up for anything-hmu or like this post and I’ll come to you with TOO MUCH EXCITEMENT!!!~

Okay so I was thinking maybe if I threw out a plot someone might feel up for it??????

So it would be kind of cool to have a verse where Harry didn't destroy Toms Diary and it ended up hidden somewhere where Whinnie finds it. So it probably starts with her having full blown conversations with the diary (I mean it writes back who wouldn't be curious???), and it showing her all sorts of memories.

Having seen the excruciatingly attractive Tom Riddle and spoken to his charming persona its likely she falls head over heels and is completely open to his manipulation (whatever he wants he gets.)

She doesn't know his past or who he was destined to become, she never worked it out. But maybe he finds himself fond of his new little toy? Would be really interesting to see him struggle with the idea of actually caring (even a smidge) or maybe even falling in love (who knows???)

So yeah if you could give me this plot with a Tom Riddle I'll love you forever and ever.

What everyone feared has happened; The Dark Lord has gained full control over the wizarding community

No one is safe anymore. Life as you know it is over. The Dark Lord will not show any mercy. The ministry has collapsed, Dumbledore is dead and Hogwarts has been turned into Voldemort’s personal fortress.
