Dagur and mala

Dagur is getting more fun to draw the more I go on. Any suggestions for characters I draw with him next? Going for a full page spread.

I was thinking Viggo or Ryker

Mala has actually been pretty fun to draw, she’s got amazing character design and writing. I love how Dagur and Mala’s relationship is portrayed granted it’s confirmed in late season 6 but both still get the chance to actually shine as characters without the other being present and still show care for one another. It’s rare that once a couple becomes offical that they just don’t meld into one being but it’s a pretty mature relationship especially since they’re both leaders. I do wish we knew how they ended up working out Dagur being king of the defenders of the wing and chief of the Beserkers, as I can’t really see him giving up his identity as a Beserkers fully as he seems to show a lot of pride and care for it but maybe he gave up his chiefdom to Heather. It’s a common theory but I’m a little hesitant as whilst Heather could be chief she doesn’t seem to like leading that much, she definitely cares but there’s never really been a situation where she’s lead the riders.

I've been re-watching HTTYD I've watched HTTYD 1 and RTTD. And I've read sone fics and dispite not having the books I know Hiccup understands Dragonese and can sometimes speak Dragonese.

So what if when the crew was on trial by Mala in Caldera Cae when Hiccup was first speaking to Mala he got nervous and started speaking in Dragonese which caught tge dragons attention
