My AU on the night furies: The differences of regular and titan night furies

- males have lighter colors than the females

- males are smaller than the females

- In normal night furies, they have less jaw nubs than the titans

- Females have darker colors so they have less detection

- Titans are about to the size of a monstrous nightmare

- Males have more rounded heads than the females

- Females have more narrow heads so they can fly faster due to them being bigger.

- Green, blue and purple eyes are the most common in regular night furies

- If a night fury has white eyes then it has some type of disease, making it unbreedable or have a shorter life span

- A few times a night fury could be born without sight due to the mother or the father having a genetic defect

- Only Titan night furies can have yellowish orangish eyes, a show of power

- eye colors get duller as they get older, for older night furies would no longer produce eggs

- Female night furies will have a smaller tail fin, extra support for flying.

- Females have more spines along the tails

- Males have brighter scales on their tails as a mating display

- The titans have longer spines on their fins and wings as another show of power

Now, the main basics of the night furies

Females can lay up to 1 - 5 eggs. Night furies will have their eggs in warm but high ground. Takes 3 weeks to make the eggs, two months to guard them and keep them warm. After they hatch, the parents take turns feeding the babies until they can fly at age 3. Once the babies know how to fly then the herd of night furies fly back home, mountains that have water, fish and caves. The babies stay with their parents until age five, then they leave the nest to be on their own.

Only one titan in every generation, if more are born then they try to kill each other until it’s the last standing. For a male titan, they pick a female without needing to do a mating display since the chosen female takes honor to being the mate of the titan male. If female titan then she’ll pick from a male that’s the most entertaining and serious. In the clutch of eggs, it’s a rare chance to lay a titan egg, 10% chance. If titan baby is born then they take longer to grow up, 3 and half years to fly and 10 years to leave to be on their own.

Common in both

-Night furies mate for life, so if one dies then the other will die as well.

-Night fury teens move to different groups of night furies to avoid inbreeding and lack of genes.

-Enemy is light furies since it’s a never ending cycle.

-They have the same mating rituals, no matter size of power.

-They need mountains that are high, warm, caves for sleeping and plenty of fish and water.

-When a night fury dies, they wait until night and set the body on fire, letting the ashes float into the night.

Summary: Roman writes letters to characters he loves as a way to understand things in his life. Today he's writing to Hiccup, Ren and Scooby Doo

Roman could never deny loving Disney, but he wasn't restricted to the franchise either. Being an actor with such a love of musical theatre it was basically impossible, so after a while of writing letters to Disney characters it was inevitable he'd begin reaching out.

The only reason he hadn't written something to a character from other films or musicals earlier had really been the prevalence in Thomas's life. When the most regular things to come out were from the franchise it was easy to remain focused on characters from it, especially when they were so diverse in the stories Disney characters have gone through.

Life doesn't always feel like a Disney movie though and it can't no matter how much Roman pretends it can to the other sides.

Dear Ren,

You've fought for the freedom to dance, made sure everyone knows that dancing is not a crime and I wish you were present in the world today to carry on fighting.

The news we're hearing is constantly filled with people either trying to make someone else illegal or otherwise criminalise their lives and the reports on protests against this are facing so much.

I hope I can keep your beat moving me to aid and join their protests when possible.

Dear Hiccup,

Today I've been enraged by Janus's assertion that you made things perfectly from the first design. I know they were trying to insult my ideas needing refinement from the other sides but the injustice done to you rankles me even more than that.

Perhaps you weren't a great wordsmith as I endevour to be but you were a great engineer and part of that was developing your creations constantly, even beyond the times people called them complete. It was always an admirable trait of yours and after hearing your story I built it into my own process as well.

I only wish my creations could remain with me being improved for longer than Thomas's job allows, but I'm heartened by your tales of taking on fierce enemies even with improvised creations.

Dear Scooby Doo,

How do you do it?

Every episode, every week, you're going to face monsters that have you clinging to Shaggy in fear but still you go to look for clues, lure them into traps, whatever the plan needs. I know you get bribed with Scooby Snacks but even then I wouldn't blame you if at any point you just refused or decided that it was one fear too many to face.

I could use a Scooby snack or a Shaggy to cling to right now. Of course nobody expects me to need that. If asked, I assume they'd compare me to Fred or perhaps Daphne, either way not someone allowed to express their fears or get some comfort for them.

Inside though I feel just like you, constantly terrified but facing those fears daily for my family, except instead of ghosts, monsters and greedy villains, my fears are rejection, dismissal and the condemnation that forbid me from seeing Remus for years. There's no happy resolution at the end of it beyond seeing those fears realised.

If you manage to face your fears, week by week and year on year, then I shall endure also.

Aww, imagine if Marinette points this out. At first, Adrien thinks she's making fun of him but then she says "I love Hiccup. He's so smart and he's really funny." Later that night, Plagg can't help but laugh as he hears Adrien say in a nasally voice "Plagg, I'm dressing up as Hiccup for Halloween this year. You'll be Toothless."

And the idea just got better.
