ERAGON: Is confused, but as long as it makes you happy.

OROMIS: Refuses to answer straightforwardly how he feels about this and is talking in circles.

MORZAN: Already secretly paints his nails goth black but would still stab you if you tried it.

MURTAGH: Drops his head dramatically on the table with a loud “UGHHHH” but lets you do it anyway.

NASUADA: *hesitant* “…Fine, but only if it’s red.” *points at EXTREMELY specific red-wine-maroon mail polish you’ve never seen in your life.

GARROW: Would make Birka and Brugh interchangeably step on you.

RORAN: Could not care less as long as Ismira helps with the nails and he can do it with Katrina, or at least talk to her.

ISLANZADÍ: Would absolutely not allow it unless it was an obscenely dramatic glitter polish.

ALÍN: “GLITTER!!”

SAPHIRA: Only accepts if the nail polish color compliments her scales.

THORN: Watches quietly and starry-eyed as you take the time and care to make his talons look nice. He is smiling the whole time.

So next book by Paolini will be Murtagh centered. If we consider the next book like a DnD campaign, we’re going to have a sorcerer, his soul bonded dragon, a barbarian, and a cleric.
