Quick disclaimer: these are pre-episode 9 headcanons! I know nothing of how it all ends and I don't want to know anything until I've seen it. This is a safe space.

👀 Who gets jealous more easily & how obvious are they about it?

While in the circus, I don't think either of them get all that jealous since there's only so many of them there, lol. They're not exactly spoiled for choice with who they can choose to spend their time with and it's in their best interest to be able to get along with everyone as best as they can. So I think if Zooble and Pomni had chill, one-on-one hang outs and Ragatha and Gangle had little luncheon girl-talk dates, they'd both be super supportive and wouldn't necessarily feel jealous of the other finding someone else to bond and connect with.

Though, of the two of them, I can see Gangle maybe being the one to feel more insecure if Zooble started spending a bunch more time with someone else than if Gangle did, since Zooble spends most of their time on their own and skipping adventures if they're not with her. A shift like that for them that would be noticeable and she'd definitely overthink it. So, in the circus, it's probably Gangle that is the most at risk of feeling jealous.

But I'm also low-key picturing Zooble getting jealous of Bazooble in a situation where the evil clones come back and they're actively trying to flirt with their girl because they accidentally mistook her for their Evil Gangle. But mostly Zooble's just pissed. How dare anyone only flirt with Gangle because they think she's someone else? Zooble will kick their ass xD

Outside of the circus, if they were their human selves out and about in the real world, I feel more confident saying that Gangle gets jealous more easily, but Zooble is the one who's more obvious about it. More on their human lives under the cut, if you're interested!

Gangle will get quiet and retreat into herself. She won't say anything in the moment or while someone's actively chatting up Zooble. Zooble's usually pretty good about shutting things like that down quickly regardless, but sometimes Gangle will get stuck in her own head and she'll just quietly spiral until it's only the two of them again, alone in their apartment, and then she'll climb onto their lap and won't leave for hours. She also probably draws a lot of vent art and either posts it to a private account or burns it. Like an effigy, lol. Though she has accidentally set off the fire alarm in their apartment before, whoops. She now reserves the ritualistic burnings for when she's outside, like at a bonfire or in the the McDonald's parking lot after closing.

Zooble doesn't get jealous nearly as often. They're proud they have such a hot girlfriend and think it's adorable (and a crime) that she genuinely has no clue how hot she is (don't tell Zooble they are biased, they will make you regret it). They're usually pretty chill. They sometimes think it's funny and will tease Gangle about it a little when people flirt with her because she tends to be pretty oblivious to subtle hints. They'll also sometimes pretend or play up a possessive reaction for her because Gangle's kind of into it and they think that's cute, but when someone seriously crosses a line or if they're feeling fragile or insecure themself, they are instantly at Gangle's side and in the person's face all like, "Hey, babes, are they bothering you? Well, we gotta head out now anyway, sweetheart, remember? We had that thing after this, right? Yeah, that thing. So let's get going- Hey. I said fuck off asshole, she's with me."

And then they pin her to the nearest wall as soon as they're alone and desperately make out with her until they calm down. Which, again, Gangle is kind of into, except she doesn't want Zooble to actually be upset about it. So she'll do her best to soothe them and holds them, letting them get whatever's bothering them off their chest with some soft cuddles afterwards.

Sorry I kind of rambled here! Ultimately, in either situation, I think Gangle gets jealous easier, but Zooble is more obvious about it. Thank you for asking!

Which is why it’s such a surprise when Thranduil, an absolute beast of an elf, fell in love with and married Bard. And then the pattern continued with Legolas and Aragorn.

Random headcanons that are always lurking in the back of my mind about Alastor:

The papers dubbed him 'The bayou Butcher'

Alastor used to bring up his own murders on air, and people would phone in with gossip and theories. He loved the infamy and brought more publicity to his crimes, while still being able to remain anonymous.

He was only allowed a mainstream radio broadcast slot because his transatlantic accent was so good, his ethnicity wasn't obvious. People who found out it was him were shocked to learn he was of mixed heritage.

He was light skinned enough that he could possibly pass as white with a very deep tan, but mixed enough that he didn't look like he fit in with either side of his ethnicity.

His natural accent is very different, with a clear french influence and obvious southern drawl.

He and his mother would speak fluent French when alone, and naturally, Alastor will still occasionally mutter to himself in French when he's annoyed and thinks no one is listening.

In Hell, he puts on the transatlantic accent since he is always performing a character, its part of the mask to ensure he's always in control. His true intentions and identity are hidden away from prying eyes

He was seen as a bit of a social outcast while alive since he showed no intentions in finding a wife, which was extremely unusual for a man in his thirties.

Since Mimzy was the opposite, having many flings with unsavoury men, which was also a big social taboo, they fake dated for a little while to dissuade the gossip about their intentions with the opposite sex.

After his death, the media went wild with the reveal that a popular radiohost was the Bayou butcher.

Years after his death there was a documentary made about his crimes (Probably named something like 'murder on the airwaves') Husk probably knows of this documentary, maybe even Vox depending on when it was made.

When Alastor first started his killings in Hell, he kept up a double identity. They wanted to dismiss Alastor as a threat, and he kept the fact he was the notorious Radio Demon a secret until he had enough powerful blood on his hands to inspire fear. When he finally revealed he and the Radio Demon were one in the same, Hell became extremely unnerved that no one had taken him seriously.

Mimzy used to cover for Alastor while they were alive, since she was the only one who new about his murderous hobby. When she died, she used his notoriety to further herself and stop people trying to take advantage of her, since she had such a powerful friend.

Alastor humours Mimzy, taking pleasure in her giving him some sport in the form of people coming after her. He figures since she covered for him in life, he can return the favour in death.

Mimzys "give him a couple of fingers of rye and he becomes a kitten" is reference to what he was like while alive. She doesn't accept or realise that he is a very different beast now that he has power and reputation behind him. They haven't really spent much time in hell together socialising.

What are your human inky mystery headcanons?

I don’t rlly think a whole lot about human AUs. They’re not my favorite tbh. (Partially bc I only draw their toon forms so I’ve forgotten how to draw normally at this point). Tho I can’t remember if the Mary Poppins’ AU is a human au or not.

In terms of behaviors you cannot tell me that cuphead doesn’t have the most rigorous hair and skin care routine. Bro just screams “has 50 cleansers” and uses a gouache stone every night.

I also have ideas for names (cuz honestly a human being named mugman or Cuphead seems a little wierd)

For bendy I think his name is Benjamin but it was shortened to Benny then to bendy. Boris remains the same.

I headcanon that the cupbros are at least partially Greek because of the ties with the calix animi and its inspiration with Ancient Greece. So for cuphead I think his name would be Kylix which translates to “cup” so people call him cup and cuppy. I don’t really have an idea for mugs tho.

Tho in the Mary poppins cup and mugs are Czechoslovakian. I guess Slovak in current times but this au I set before the split so yeah. In that case their names are Čupka (pronounced I believe “choop-ka” but I think someone misreads it so cup just stuck) and Mug’s is Mstislav nicknamed misty but kids are cruel and teased him for having a “girly name” so it went from misty to mugsy to match his brother. So. Yeah.

Pretty sure that it’s cannon Felix is English/British whatever the term is so that doesn’t change.
