Summary: Without a notice, you arrive at Nevermore after hearing your sister has some problems with a Hyde. Your presence intimidating Nevermore. When you catch Tyler's attention, you become his new obsession, replaced by Wednesday. [part 2 & part 3 & part 4]
Jericho sign. A welcome that felt like nothing but misery. Black vehicle driving past it with immense speed. Leaves spiralling from underneath the wheels. Windows tinted black. The chauffeur with a grim expression, darted his gaze briefly to the backseat. It only lasted for a second for the reply in a stern gaze he received made him dart his eyes away.
From behind tinted sunglasses you were staring at him. Hands laying on your crossed leg. Turning your head after a while to the tinted scenery. The sun just above the horizon settling with each hour. Nothing but hills in your view.
With an interested expression, you stared out of the window. Narrowing your eyes upon the hills. Searching for something that you knew might lurk in the shadows. A Hyde.
The car followed the curve. Nevermore academy glooming in the distance. Castle rising from behind the hills. Yet the car took a different turn. Further away to a place hidden in the woods. Rotwood cottage. The sign read. The tires crackled over the gravely driveway. Your chauffeur hurrying out to open the door for you.
Holding his arm out as you grabbed onto it. Gracefully stepping out. Taking a deep breath at the fresh air. With two snaps of your fingers the chauffeur hurried to the trunk, taking out your luggage. Walking up the pavement to the door, you knocked on the door.
The door opened creakingly, greeted by emptiness. Till you automatically looked down. “Evening Thing.” You spoke with a smile. Thing moved all his fingers up in shock. Shaking a bit till he turned. Finger tips running over the flooring back inside. You lingered at the front door, staring down at the entrance. Bringing your foot just close enough till where you could get before sensing the invisible stop.
For a vampire needed an invite into a home. The door opened more, welcomed by your cheerful father. “Y/n! Mi pequeño murciélago.” He tightly wrapped his arms around his little bat. Lifting you up from the air and doing a little turn with you. “Mi amore! Come see who is at the door.” He called out, setting you back down.
Unable to let go of your hand as he keep patting it with a smirk. From behind your father appeared your mother with a loud gasp. “Hello mother.” You spoke. Morticia let out a soft squeal, opening her arms to you. Leaving a tender kiss on your forehead. “We thought you were still in Transylvania. Why didn’t you tell us you were coming?” she asked curiously.
“Come in, come in my fanged murciélago.” Gomez tugged on your hand, bringing you over the entrance. The previous blockage faded. On one of the cabinets stood Thing. You shook one of his fingers whilst passing. Your parents leading you to the fire place. Gomez sat you down, joining you. Your mother coming to the other side.
“My dark cloud what brings you to Jericho?” Morticia was curious about for you rarely visited home after you had gone to school in Romania. You took the tinted sunglasses off for the sun had settled well enough now. “Problems of a Hyde reached my ears.” You responded. Morticia and Gomez shared briefly a glance.
“I couldn’t miss out on the fun could I now?” A smirk curling up in the corner of your lips. Gomez chuckled humorously. “That’s my little corpse.” Patting your hand lovingly. Morticia took your hands, turning you more towards her. “I am deeply thrilled you are here Y/n but do not underestimate a Hyde.” She made clear. You looked over your shoulder to your father. He winked back at you, thrilled to have you here.
The next morning, early in the morning. You went to Nevermore academy. Holding a little lace black umbrella for the upcoming sun. Accompanied by Thing, you strutted into the school. Many eyes going your way. Whispering your way. A young boy that was coming your way, froze instantly. Panicked and darted into the bushes to be out of your way.
It made you curl up a tiny smile. Another Addams? Reached your mind, making you charge directly to where it came from. A blonde girl with colours in her hair and a jock type boy. You immediately caught a whiff of pups. “Yes, I am.” You responded. The blonde girl stuttered a bit and gawked at you. “How… how…?” she asked, looking frantically around. “I can read minds.” You simply told her, looking down at her.
She laughed sheepishly, perhaps not wanting it to be a reality. “No way.” Was her response. Your eyes flashed white, staring intensely back at her. Yes way. You let your voice roam her mind. The girl yelped at the sudden intrusion within her thoughts. This… this isn’t really happening. A panic washing over. It is really happening. You answered in her mind. Quirking your eyebrow up at what you were digging up in her mind.
The girl sensing her secrets could not keep sealed to you. Think of something else… think of a colour… pink. She spoke panicky to herself, not wanting to think about something secretive. Pink. You replied tilting your head a bit. The girl let out a frightening gasp. Who… who are you? The question swirling her mind. Y/n, who are you? You questioned with a soft smirk. The girl squealed soft. You broke the connection, your eyes normal once more. Leaning a bit closer to her, you grinned. “Hello Enid.”
Enid called it out soft, clamping onto the boy next to her. Chuckling humorously, it was always a thrill to taunt people with that trick. “I see you are back from the night, sister.” Straightening your posture, you turned around. “Wednesday.” You announced with a chill in your voice. “What brings you crawling to Jericho. Kicked out of your school?” She spoke with a slightly raised eyebrow.
“Hyde-seeing.” You answered with a smile, revealing a bit of your fangs to her. “Wednesday… who is she?” Enid asked curiously, but perhaps deep down already knowing the answer. For with your black attire, you were easily fitting amongst them. “My disaster tourist of a sister.” Wednesday responded without a glance away from you.
“Those are the best kind of tourists, sister.” Your response quick and sharp. “Y/n!” Another voice caught your attention. Making you turn on your heel. Slightly lowering the parasol. Before you could fully open your arms, Pugsley had surprised you with a hug. “You’re here!” he exclaimed. Wednesday rolled her eyes at Pugsley’s affinity with you.
Pugsley took a step back, but remained at your side. Grinning with happiness for seeing his sister again. Wednesday stared with crossed arms at you. “Your run-ins with the Hyde are quite something.” You addressed your sister. “How do you know about Tyler?” Wednesday answered with a cold stare.
For she recollected never sending you letters. You took out your sunglasses for the sun was getting higher. You rather wished this conversation was at night for you were a nocturnal one. Simply smiling at her to figure it out for herself. “Uncle Fester.” She mumbled under her breath. Spinning on your heel, you took off.
Leaving a trail of buckling knees around you. All trembling after seeing your little incident with Enid. Pugsley happily following you. “Are you really going to search for the Hyde?” he asked. “One must know what she is dealing with before striking a bite.” You responded, ruffling your fingers through his hair.
Looking for a Hyde was starting to get a bit more complicated than you imagined. Sipping on blood through a straw, you walked around the woods. Walking under a half moon feeling the liveliest. Wind toying with your hair. You stopped, focusing your hearing on twigs snapping. The sound enhanced as you could easily tell from how far it was.
Drinking loudly from your cup, you continued your step. Hearing more twigs snap underneath a booth a few moments later. Making you curl up a smile. You had a follower. A stalker. Unbothered you went on, anticipating the moment of surprise. Heavy breathing reached your ears. Definitely male. A steady heart beat that seemed to slightly intensify.
After a while the breaths became heavy pants. Sturdy stomps on earth as you slowly turned around. Barely looking surprised up at the Hyde before you. Panting loudly, saliva dripping down his teeth. “Tyler.” You spoke, staring into the Hyde’s eyes. It growled your way and slashed your cup out of your hands. The remaining blood inside seeping into the soil.
Leaning a bit closer, you saw yourself grow larger in the glossiness of his eyes. “You are most beautiful.” Outing with fascination. The Hyde genuinely seemed to be taken back by your sudden compliment.
You approached him, reaching for his arms. Clasping your hand around his muscles, taking in his glory. “Upmost beautiful.” Adding with a smile upon this deadly creature. Seeing beauty in the monstrosity.
The Hyde moved his hand up, making you break contact. Staring into your eyes, he suddenly broke contact. Turning around and taking off. Running and bumping against trees as it slowly regained his formal appearance.
Tyler gaped loud, grabbing a tree. Panting loudly as he felt the last of the Hyde’s rage leave his body. Weakly he dropped to his knees, grabbing for his heart. For whatever magic you were working, he felt intrigued. More than usual.
For he had been watching you for a while now. Wondering who the newly arriving Addams member was. An unusual girl more his age. The intention of ripping you open and deliver you on a platter to Wednesday fading away. For numerous times he had begun stalking you.
Getting to learn more about your habits and routes till he found the perfect opportunity to end your life. Grunting loud with a turn of his head, he felt little for that. Walking unsteadily he fled into the night. Night and day breaking his head open about you.
Tyler watched from between the trees. Maintaining a distance yet fighting the urge within himself to get closer. Glaring intensely at the crowd you were with. The nightshades along with Enid. He watched you stop, slightly turn your head in his direction.
Making him hide more behind a tree. Panting loudly as he suddenly heard your voice in his mind. Looking confusingly around. Lurking in the shadows? Tyler set his hand on the tree, peeking around it once again at you. Seeing how your eyes had a white shade over them.
Barely paying attention to your voice in his mind, he focused on the hand approaching your shoulder. Panting loudly with anger. Feeling like he would go off any second. “Y/n, you okay?” he heard the boy say.
The hand barely settled on your shoulder as Tyler had lost his senses. Quick and having the advantage of surprise, he had taken the boy. Swinging him over his shoulder, away from you. You lost contact with your mind-reading, eyes settling back to normal.
“Tyler!” Wednesday spoke as the others hid behind her. Tyler barely gave Wednesday a glance as he turned towards you. He forcefully grabbed you by the elbow, pulling you closer to him. Tilting his head a bit, he took a deep breath by your neck. Taking in your senses that drove him crazy.
Wednesday quirked her eyebrow at that. Enid yelping soft. “Next time I’ll break his skin.” Tyler spoke in your ear with a hungry jealousy. “I see you’ve met my sister.” Wednesday announced with a stare. Tyler gave her a brief glance that she did not recognize within him. Tyler breathed intensely against your neck and jawline. Restraining himself for he wanted your kiss like an ocean needs a breeze. Consumed and baptised by your presence.
“Am… am I going mental or is Tyler crazy about your sister?” Enid questioned. “Enough.” Ajax called out in a fury. He took some furious steps towards Tyler, pulling his hood off. Only you had anticipated Ajax’s sudden move quicker than anyone. Grabbing Tyler, shoving him aside. Tyler tumbled to the ground as your eyes made eye contact with the snakes.
Freezing in a matter of seconds. “Nooo!” Tyler shouted loud, staring at your stone body. Balding his fist, he inhaled sharply. Body transforming as his anger had taken over. “Sh*t.” Ajax panicked upon the transforming Hyde. “Run!” Enid called out, already taking a run for it.
Bianca right behind her as she valued her life too much. Ajax went panickily after them, screaming it out. Wednesday remained. The Hyde growled loud at her, blowing her pigtails back. Raising his claw at her. “My sister will hate you if you do.” She simply outed remaining cool. Tyler slashed his claw down before her, tearing the grass.
He growled loud at her again before turning around. Moving one arm around your statue and taking it with him. Wednesday swallowing a bit, aware of the shift in Tyler’s view. For where she had always taken much space in his mind, were now his walls painted with you. Feelings weren’t her thing, but she couldn’t deny the ick it was giving her.
The Hyde caught his breath, slowing down. Seeking shelter by the cemetery. Hiding in one of the mausoleums. Setting you down and slowly transforming back to himself. “Look at what they’ve done to you.” He said brushing his knuckles down your stoned cheek. “My Y/n.” his voice a soft whisper. Feeding himself with revenge.
He guarded the mausoleum for the upcoming hours. Pacing around anxiously till you broke free from the stone. Your muscles tensed making you feel weak and drop through your knees. You’d for sure hit the ground if Tyler had not caught you. “You okay Y/n?” he asked trailing a knuckle down your cheek.
“That was meant for me.” He continued with some anger. “I know.” You responded tugging a bit on his shirt. “Next time I see him, he’s dead.” Feeling his muscles tense with anger. You shushed him, cupping his cheeks. Tyler exhaled pantingly against your palm, taking it to leave a small kiss on your palm.
“Don’t waste yourself over him, Tyler.” You responded. Tyler moved your hand higher up, kissing your wrist. “You sensed the monster in me.” He breathed out, holding your gaze. “We’re two black hearted-souls ready to pillage the world together.” His lips inching yours. Taking in a deep breath, you closed the gap between the two of you. Lips on lips, kissing tenderly. For all he wanted was to be loved by someone who saw his entire self.
