Bought PQ2 for myself on sale but im restraining myself from playing cuz i havent play 5 yet (but when the game was new i was spoiled on some of the major stuff so i could propably play it without any surprises)

afaik PQ2 doesn’t spoil P5, all it’s touched on so far is Kamoshida

edit: actually i guess it does kinda spoil 5 if you haven’t played at ALL... the entire cast is here so they naturally mention details from their “backstories” and such; it’s been so long since i’ve played 5 i kinda.... forget this stuff isn’t common knowledge, my bad lol

Despair timeline: Let's say Izuru decided to create a cloning device and tested it on himself thus creating little Hajime. Izuru can't tell why he's so diffirent from him cause he expected more of a resamblence, but he still takes care af the child. He could either call him Izuru as well as Hajime (Let's say that name felt familliar to him and it seemed to fit him). Izuru's fascinated with little Hajime and makes sure that he can develop and grow healthily even if recources are scarce.

At first he would be quite intrigued as for why his clone is so different from him, but after a while he would probably conclude that this is his past life as the child is of course an younger version of himself where he as Izuru wasn’t even existing

I would go with Hajime, either because he remembered that Chiaki had called him that before dying or because as you mentioned it sounded familiar to him and he found it fitting

He would take good care of him, that I’m sure off

Also this AU reminds me of a bunch of artwork I have saved on my computer where Izuru is in the middle of the tragedy and is taking care of a child Hajime. I would link them but the original artist deleted their Pixiv account as it seems...

When New pokemon games come out Chiaki buys them separate versions So they can play together. Izuru finishes his faster than Chiaki no matter how hard she tries

I don’t think Chiaki would worry about finishing a game super fast just because Izuru finished first. It can’t be helped that Izuru has faster analytical abilities. He probably could care less about the story, and just wants to get to the end. 

But yeah, Chiaki would differently get them both different versions. Though I can see her getting too worked up over which version to get Izuru, even though he really doesn’t care. Something about them trading together just sounds nice.
