Some people are really out there living life not controlled by their digestive systems? Sounds fake but ok…
My body keeps cancelling any attempts I make to go out and do something aha 🥲
Pretty urgent advice wanted as of 1/2/22 if anyone has it?
For context, I have hEDS, POTS, IBS, GERD, MCAS, celiac, controlled epilepsy, CFS, and fibromyalgia, along with so much more, so there's a lot going on there. The holiday season has been nightmarish as a whole because I let my internalized ableism get the best of me and seriously overworked myself. I spent ~10 hours in the car on Christmas Eve, walked more in a day than I did the entire previous week, and slept on a couch. Woke up the next day and it was like I was trapped in my own body. My mind was all there, but I didn't have the energy to move or even speak, but it gradually improved throughout the day.
I then made the mistake of ringing in the new year at my girlfriend's parent's house. More time in the car, uncomfortable bed, and nothing available to eat but fast food. We left back for our home and I genuinely thought that I was dying. My head felt like it was going to explode, eyes popping out of my head, cold sweat, agonizing cramps, vertigo, pain at base of skull, overwhelming nausea, couldn't speak because it triggered my gag reflex, brain zaps/random body spasms, pain so bad I was uncontrollably sobbing, like I would've gone to the ER if it weren't for Covid.
That was yesterday, and I was in so much pain I hardly slept again. Thankfully if I was at a 10 on the pain scale before, I'm now around a 7. Most symptoms have subsided except the intense nausea, head/eye pressure, vertigo, and neck pain. This has never happened before and I'm terrified. I'm honestly desperate for any form of relief at this point and am planning on seeing a doctor ASAP, but everywhere is closed until tomorrow. I'm relatively confident this flareup won't kill me, but getting Covid would, so the ER isn't an option. Has anyone else experienced this? What helped you feel better?
These laxatives are really talented 🥲
Why can't venues post event timings in advance. I'm sorry I can't stand for 4 hours after eating only 3 bowls of porridge in the day I don't care if I'm at the back tell me the latest I can show up and not miss the main thing
The venue and the ticket website even give different timings for doors please just tell me when it starts 😭
