found tangled in a poacher’s net, her tail and fins torn and bleeding from the struggle, the thresher shark hybrid was pulled from the water by john and taken back with him to a quarantine tank. there, separated only by thick glass, she encountered three other shark hybrids - simon, kyle, and johnny - who watched in silence, already measuring her place among them, and what survival might demand before she earned it.

☆ you... aren't mad. how can you be mad when he looks like he killed his way to your home just to be with you? with splatters of blood all over his face, it's hard not to be terrified to your core. you ask him what happened, who got near your home again for him to do this - but he just kept quiet, staying true to his act... his name.

☆ you aren't getting anything out of him, so instead you decide to help him clean up. realizing he'll get to feel the gentle touches only you could provide awakened that familiar primal feeling deep inside him - but he kept it suppressed, hid his (bloody) face in his (bloody) hands, and giggled deeply in an almost childish way.
