Hello Again,

I am back after a few days. This lockdown and everything else that’s followed has pushed my life out of track; over the past few months, I have wasted time like never before. I can’t count how many hours I have spent in front of my laptop just staring at memes and gaining vicarious happiness while watching videos of people enjoying their lives on YT. And I regret that.

But writing! Writing or... typing or whatever you want to call it, never ceases to attract me, it is the one activity that I can do all day every day without ever feeling bored, maybe its cause I have so many things that I want to tell, so many opinions to express, so many thoughts to jot down and never really enough people to listen to me.

Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying I am some kind of prolific writer or some wannabe author or some such thing (Although I definitely would not mind if my destiny has author written in it for me : ) ), as a matter of fact, half the time, the things that I write don’t make half sense to me myself. Like this very blog for example. But it’s just that I enjoy writing so much and I feel I can never get tired of it even if what I write is utter bunkum nonsense.

So today I will give you a little sneak peek into my family.

Before I continue any further I just want to add that my brother is getting a fish tomorrow and I HATE HIM FOR IT. I breed this unconditional hate towards fish, it’s however something I never knew I had such strong feelings against until the day my brother decided that he deserved to get a pet of some kind for scoring well in his tests and... my oh my!! The hatred, the sheer abhorrence, the fucking pure abomination that I experienced was something unprecedented in my hate history. See, there are lizards, snakes and other reptiles that evoke repugnance and there are tigers and lions and other felines that demand trepidations from us and then there is the bloody fucking asshole of a creature called FISH! Those scaly slimy suckers don’t deserve to be designated as pets!! Seriously, what is it about those creatures that is so fascinating huh? Is it the jumping and sniffing and licking it’s owner’s face and guarding the house that is so exciting? Oh, or is it the fact that they are so smart and imitate what we speak? Ah, I know! Probably it’s the fact that we can take them out for long walks and play with them all day that makes them for such good pets!! How exhilarating righttt?! -_-

The asshole of an animal (is it even an animal? I seriously don’t know) doesn’t even make a whimper of a noise! How can ANYBODY want it?? Honestly, I’d rather just frame a picture of the bloody creature and keep it in my living room than put in all the effort and money to go and actually buy an aquarium for that ungrateful wretch which doesn’t even have the courtesy to requite back all the love and affection and food and money that humans invest in it... fucking fish! And for the bubble joy that lasts for literally 2 seconds after bringing it home, we are supposed to feed it twice a day and change its water once a month? Are you kidding me?!! Even monkeys are better at reciprocating. I mean HAVE YOU HEARD OF KING KONG? OR OR MARCEL?!!!

You know what... that’s it manh. I’m very pissed off right now, and I don't think I want to talk about my family just yet. Some other time. Besides, it’s 10:15 (night) already now and I’d promised my friend I would finish reading that book on Indira Gandhi, that I’ve been glossing over since a month, today so that we can go to the library together tomorrow.
