Getting the inazuma event after the natlan mess and silent lantern rite (absolutely no hate to the VAs fuck ai) is such a breath of fresh air

Like going from natlan, where none of the characters had compelling dynamics to an entire les-fest is crazy and I love it

Like there are so many interesting dynamics, even ones I never considered, that I'm super interested in now

Love me some inazuma girl kissers, but more than that the contrast is so harsh and it's a really good example of why recent valid criticism is more than "complain impact", bcs this is what we used to have.

Characters who are more than fanservice, with technology that was properly integrated into the world building, with dynamics that gave them personality and a storyline that gave deeper insight into the lore of the game as a whole.

Natlan had so much potential, I've discussed it in a separate post when the last part of the archon quest came out, so I won't dwell on that now, but this is a really good time to reflect on why so many players are unhappy and critical because this is what we started playing for. (I absolutely hate the mini games tho, like they fit into the story, but other than Sayu's one, I wanted to kms, but that's just a skill issue on my part.)

Mizuki ate with everything except her splash art and her burst cut scene which feels like hoyoverse pushing to see how far they can go (especially after seeing the leaks of the new character, but I'll save that rant for later bcs dear gods I could write an essay on how much I hate it)

So in conclusion,

Godsbless Miko, Ei and Mizuki's VAs, they carried so hard

Someone get the Sumeru writers back (bcs that's my favourite archon quest)
