So today in English class we started a new chapter and my teacher showed us a timeline and asked us what we thought the chapter could be about. And the two first things I saw on this timeline were : 'Horatio and Hamlet from Hamlet by William Shakespeare ' and 'John Watson and Sherlock Holmes from Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle '.

And when I tell you I was literally SHAKING on my chair, trying to not shout "GAYS" in front of my class

mshenko is probably the healthiest representation of queer relationships i've seen which isn't saying much because i haven't seen many but their fucking dynamic is just so goddamn important to me.

like... i know the reason we can't be gay in ME1 is because they (bioware) were cowards but in retrospect i really, really fucking love the slow burn. because it's like... they go through ME1 together, go through horizon, and STILL end up drawn to one another. and they actually talk about it, about horizon, in the hospital. i think mars was such a huge example of how deeply shepard really cares for kaidan.

and i think kaidan's love is best represented when they're in the cerberus headquarters and shepard talking about being rebuilt by cerberus says, "i don't know, i..." and kaidan just says, "you're real enough for me"

like on god i WILL fucking lose my goddamn mind RIGHT NOW. because that's so indicative of the way they communicate even without speaking. there's a bond there that's so fucking deep and i just. they make me SO FUCKING FERAL.

omg this took me too long to make... I technically started it Feb 23rd... finished June 4th and I forgot to post it... 101 days. I worked on it nonstop for the first, like, eight days, then forgot about it until June when I finally gathered the courage to sew the buttons and buttonholes on. :3 :3 :3

disregarding my absolutely horrendous work ethic, I'm quite proud of this (even though the seams aren't serger-ed because I don't have one). There is a disappointing lack of patterns for Medic's coat soooo... I drafted it, and I don't really know how, he probably possessed me or something. If anyone asks I may convert it to a pattern and share it, idk, it kinda sucks. I know we see the sleeves of the coat in cosmetics that have it tied around his waist (e.g. watchmann's wetsuit) but I DISREGARDED that because I DIDN'T LOOK and now he has WHATEVER THESE THINGS ARE CALLED.

They'll make the gloves better in general to wear, they cinch in. I rock.

Other than that, I tried to make it as close to the in-game look as possible, because that's what always bugged me when I saw other people cosplaying him (love you all, y'all awesome, even if you do put the buttons in the middle sometimes for some godforsaken reason) and I'm planning on putting some boning in the front to help the bottom stick out more (like in game). Or a few wires, whatever, just to not make it all floppy.

But anyways, I love it and I love wearing it. As of right now I just use a belt I had before, but just you wait... it will be, confirmed, the coolest belt anyone has ever used on a Medic cosplay, ever. Gaben told me that. I just have to work up the courage to... gasp... spend money on leather.

Everything else... Everything else is in the works.

God, I want a 3d printer.

Also, maybe I'll make a big-ass dove tail to attach to the belt. medimedies cosplay oughhhh... (I could then, technically, wear it to a furry convention. I could make a different wig out of white feathers... stay tuned, gays.)
