✨8️⃣✨miles today! My favorite distance 💛 So happy to be increasing the miles. Making the most of these trails before the snow comes. #SundayRunday . .
When you finally do a treadmill work out, you're finally holding off the Christmas cookies, and there's mirrors everywhere in the home gym. Back visiting my old home and avoiding running in the 2 degree weather bc I'm afraid of bronchitis ... Thanks for the tan Guadeloupe, thanks for the 6 mile work out coach 😩 #WasSupposedToRun9Today #WentToTheBreweryInTheSnowInstead . .
Day 3 of no running 😷 Time for a smoothie and a firey apple cider shot 💪🏼🌶🍏🥕🥒🍍 Story time: Every time I get sick I am reminded of my final season as a collegiate cross country runner. I was literally sick for more than a year before learning I had some funky lil betch growing in my sinus cavity. I ran through my final season, sick every day. It affected my weight, my mood, my sleep, my ability to eat, and I'm sure my ability to run because I couldn't breathe out of my nose! I didn't realize the severity at the time lol. Just this past week was 3 years since I've had an 8 inch polyp removed from my sinus (lol so gross so tmi I know), and could literally breathe better immediately after the surgery, even with the packing and swelling. So when I get sick now I'm reminded of 3 things. To trust and listen to your body: I know what it feels like to get sick in a million ways now. Your body literally tells you when shit ain't right, do it a solid and get some sleep and veggies. 2. To take care of yourself: Not enough sleep, not prioritizing your health, not enough healthy food, it'll leave you run down. 3. It'll pass: Nothing will be as bad as 3 years ago for me, I'll survive. Hopefully running tomorrow! .
Seen on my run. Wondered why I didn’t recognize that helicopter “beat”. Apparently they are doing some line work above the last row of houses. This guy is delivering shit. Cool job..shit deliverer. #irun #imarunner #kinda https://www.instagram.com/p/CQvno7yB4h1/?utm_medium=tumblr
