Is it just me, or does Pedro Pascal look remarkably like Giordano Bruno, the 16th century Italian scientist that insisted that not only did the Earth orbit the Sun, but that stars could be other suns with their own planets, and who was burned at the stake for this "heresy"?
(Notably, that wasn't the only heresy Giordano Bruno was burned for. He also questioned eternal damnation, the virginity of Mary, and believed souls probably transmigrate/reincarnate.)
Trigger Warnings: Mentions of death, murder, death, and reincarnation, etc...
Gabrielle (Gabby) - The Older Twin

When someone harms her sister in any serious manner, she becomes violent/murderous. She is jaded and irritated with her predicament as a result of being slain and reincarnated numerous times. She often feels terrible for inflicting her twin sister's curse and problems. She also likes to get into mischief. She has, in fact, slain individuals in her previous life. She is extremely protective of her twin sister.
Appearance: She has long blonde hair and red eyes. She's about 5'4" and has a petite physique. She also wears an eyepatch to help her see in the dark also, because she has a scar on her right eye.

I have just had a weird thought about Jaune’s semblance after seeing a comic about old Yang talking to her grandkids. Could Jaune now be effectively immortal?
Like, if aging into elderly life is literally your body and brain beginning to degrade irreparably, could Jaune use his Semblance to counter this process? I know there’s not a lot of evidence for this, but Jaune did heal Weiss’ fire spear wound in Volume 5, which would have pierced and burnt some organs at least. Since then, there’s been no talk of lasting damage or even scars from that wound, at least not physical ones.
Plus, the “situation” in Volume 8 with Penny doesn’t really count as evidence against this, as the problem brought up then was merely a matter of time, literally: “how long until Cinder notices Penny being healed and stops playing with Weiss and just kills them all?”.
And by extension, could Jaune make other people immortal through this process as well?
I haven’t actually though about this much, mostly just jotting this down after having the thought, I’ve weirded myself out with it though.
[The sun is low in the sky, and everything is bathed in an orange hue. The earth is dry and the dust mingles with the fog that rolls in as dusk grows near.
The sheriff is dead. Michelle is dying. And Gem’s hands are covered in blood.
Her heart is racing, and all she can listen to is the sound of her own breathing, and... she shouldn’t feel this good right now. But she does. She... could take on the world and then some, if she tried, she’s sure.
There’s a power in her veins that wasn’t there before, and it feels like this terrible thing, like she shouldn’t have it, and she loves it.
The sheriff is dead. The town heads are missing. Someone has to take charge. ...Why not her? Why shouldn’t she make a little sense of their godless town? Why should-
Michelle is crying.
Gem turns, and Mi is curled in on herself, shaking.
