After Stoic Whumpee is rescued, Medic tells them Whumper did something that caused them to only have a few months left to live. Whumpee keeps their composure, tells Medic they understand. It's only after Medic leaves the room that Whumpee breaks. They scream and sob and cry in a way they have never done before. That's how Caretaker finds them, and wordlessly embraces them, letting Whumpee cry into their shirt for as long as they need to.
Hello! I love your writing, Sr. Fang! I just hope that you are doing well mentally and physically!
No pressure at all, but may I request for Fem!ancient!reader x Pure Vanilla Cookie?
Where she donates her life powder for white lily cookie instead of elder faerie cookie?

She couldn't do it, not on her own. They had just gotten her back— White Lily, the Ancient Cookie of Freedom. You all needed her now more than either. The Silver Tree had begun cracking, the wood splintering apart as the evil within threatened to break free. Elder Faerie had been the one to suggest giving up life powder to restore White Lily's strength. "You have people to lead, the Faerie Kingdom needs their King" You had told him "Use mine in your stead"
"But my love," Pure Vanilla began, tightly holding your hand. A gesture as pleading as it was fearful. "You have people to lead too. The Cookies of the Vanilla Kingdom, your own- we won't be complete without you". "We also cannot win this war without Freedom" You explained. Your hand slid to hold his, and you tried for a reassuring smile that only deepened the healer's frown. "White Lily Cookie needs us" You told him "And I need you to trust me to do this, for all of Cookiekind". With a very hesitant nod and a lingering kiss, the ritual began
Now, what felt like hours later, Shadow Milk Cookie had been driven back a bit. Pure Vanilla turned to share the cheer with you, only to notice you hitting the ground. Your legs had given out, and he felt a sharp jolt of fear. He moved quickly, his arms supporting yours "My love-! It's alright, I'm- I'm sure if you get enough rest, we can-". Your hand came up to reach his, holding it weakly "It's... alright, dear. I expected this to happen"
You know somehow for a story where the stakes are regularly death/Imaginary Mind Crush Death, the manga really made this scene hit like a fucking truck.

There's a hand on their shoulder, squeezing gently, massaging the tense, aching muscles, but they can't give in, they can't, they can't–
They're restrained and in so much pain, it would be so easy to–
They have to remember where that hand had been mere moments earlier. They have to remember that that hand continued in fingers wrapping around the handle, the handle ending in a blade, and the blade ended somewhere inside their body.
When it was ripped out, they felt like a piece of them was torn out with it. The only connection remaining between them and their missing piece was loosely tied red ribbons flowing freely from the wound.
They had to remember they hated that hand. They had to–
It gave another reassuring squeeze. It's okay, it would be much easier if they could just slip away. Hide from the pain and misery of the present.
Still they fought the restraints and the looming shadows around them, writhed against the ropes holding them in place.
"It's okay, just give in, there's no shame in that," a voice whispered in their ear, the breath against their skin was too hot, their captor was too close, yet it sounded like they were miles away.
They tried to buck up and gain enough momentum for their head to connect with their captor's body where it hurt them most, but they found no purchase on the ground or against the restraints.
Another hand joined the first, massaging both of their shoulders, kneading out the tension they wanted oh so desperately to keep to themself.
"Shh, it's okay, you can let go now," the voice insisted, "You don't have to fight me," it continued in their other ear making them flinch.
"Find your peace, it's okay."
The fingers dug deeper into the muscle, sending a horrifyingly pleasurable shiver down their spine.
It was so confusing, to tremble from the freezing cold of their injury and from the warmth of the captor behind them at the same time.
They kept on bucking up and twisting to get away, because how could they not?

Everything was finally over. Yuu couldn’t help but sigh a breath of relief. The whole ordeal between Ace and Riddle was done at last. When them and grim stepped into the bedroom, Yuu collapsed onto the ground. They heard grim make a sound and rush over, wondering if Riddle struck them when he wasn’t looking.
Yuu sat up on the dusty Ramshackle flooring. They smiled at the cat, their roommate now. A smile that pushed up their cheeks, wrinkled their eyes and only a bit of their teeth showed.
“I’m fine, Grim.” They told him, putting a hand on his head before he quickly shoved it away.
Another overblot. God, Grim could remember when he thought it’d only be one. Yuu had talked one time about how they were shocked they hadn’t gone home yet. They said “it’s like a movie, ya know? We beat the big boss, and the story finishes with me going home. Or, I guess it’s more like a game then.” Grim didn’t really get it, which made them chuckle.
He was glad they didn’t go home. He might’ve had to leave the school then! He would never become the great mage he was destined to be! That’s the only reason. Nothing else, yep.
His mind was racing. He wondered if it’d drop another yummy black stone. He hoped so! They tasted great, even if Yuu and Ace and Deuce didn’t like ‘em. The dorm leader laid on the ground and Grim realized he hadn’t heard a word from Yuu.
He looked backwards and saw them laying on the ground. This again? They’d never been so tired they collapsed at the location, but it wasn’t unexpected. “C’mon! We hafta check if he’s ok!” Grim went over and used his paws to shove at their side.
He frowned when they didn’t react. “Hey! Henchman!” He pouted, before smirking and blowing a tiny fire to scare em straight! They have to follow his orders, afterall he’s the great grim!
They didn’t even react to the heat.
No laughter was heard, either.
