Sorry to post so much today and so much about Waterboy…
But my ideal crossover would be Waterboy from Dispatch and Hinata Hyuga from Naruto interacting. This is selfish cause Hinata hyuga is legit one of my first crushes ever (I was like, 5 or 6) and now Waterboy is who I enjoy a lot! Crush? Maybe.
I want them to be friends. I think they actually COULD be friends. I REALLY want them to be friends.
I think they could be compatible.
Hinata and Waterboy are both very kind hearted and caring people who just want to do their best, no matter what that is.
Hinata wants to be a strong ninja not just for her crush (Naruto) or her family (the Hyuga Clan), but also for herself. She always gives it her all, even when she’s scared or facing death itself. Waterboy I think is very similar. He’s unsure of himself but he tries really hard at everything he does. He tries to be a good grandson, a good janitor and a good hero. And he tries REALLY hard to be a good hero, even if others are against him and he doubts himself. But he WANTS to be strong and dependable.
They also are a little awkward and fumble with themselves sometimes. There’s this running characteristic joke with Hinata that she wants to so badly help her crush out (Naruto), but when they’re close or he pats attention to her, sometimes she gets so red and nervous and she can’t speak so she passes the fuck out. Waterboy gets flustered easily with his stutter, trying to communicate. He does it when he’s anxious/nervous, when he’s embarrassed or when he’s trying to fix things. And yeah, I’m counting that time when a lady gave him her phone number too. He couldn’t finish that sentence.
But they are very kind and very caring people, especially to the person who helped change their life for the better (Hinata with Naruto and Waterboy with Robert, even if you ship the two of them or keep it STRICTLY platonic). They want to make that person in their life proud of them, cause that person believed in them when no one else really did.
So yeah.
I need them to be friends so bad.
