Chamomile in the making.
Chamomile is one of our must have herbs in the garden. The blossoms are beautiful and they also make a delicious relaxing tea.
The best time to harvest Chamomile is on a dried morning on a sunny day and when the flowers are at full bloom. The blossoms are open and the tiny white petals have not begin to droop down.
When picking the flowers, it is possible to directly pinch off each flower head or fastly cut before with the stem of the plant, as we did, and then simply save just the flower head.
After that spread out all the flowers in a single layer and allow them to dry for one or two weeks in a dark, warm, dry space.
Chamomile is now ready for the boiling water. Enjoy.
