The Study. (Entrance)
Set into the base of the mesa on Moonside, hermetically sealed. Accessible only by lock which is only openable by a key I have.
When I am near it pops out of the door, appearing as concentric rings laid flat in the surface, begins to glow and spin.
They are both designed to be infinite in combination and solution, quantum if you will. ^^
The Study.
Large window with a seat that has an inlay of various celestial objects in brass and mother of pearl/abalone, various jewel toned throw pillows, that I make glass for for visitors out of sand but is otherwise open to the desert.
Drawers that are actually tiny pocket dimensions that I can store things in both on the walls and in the desk.
Specimen display cases for samples of animals, plants, fossils behind desk along the walls, no actual books.
100% constantly cluttered desk.
White walls and dark wood beams.
Small details on floors and other wood.
An entire alcove across from the desk which is further inward from the window seat which is directly to the right of the entrance dedicated to a chaise and a large rennaisance painting of something I can't remember right now.
The Corridor
To the north at the far end of the study is a sort of…Short hallway. There's an entryway of the same dark wood with carvings around the edges in celestial designs like stars and moons, inset with small stones. The hall itself is made of what looks like hewn and smoothed stone with painted plaster over it. On the left side is a naval battle mosaic I've never actually seen irl but is definitely past-life related that stretches most of the length of the hall.
On the other side there are windowed large cubby type displays framed in dark wood, one full of artefacts, ancient jewelry, pottery, neolithic tools, the other is filled with writing fragments, mostly papyrus and cuneiform but others that appear to be chinese in origin. There are more that I can't identify.
At the end of the hall there is an alcove in which is the arched entryway to the library with patterned tile around the arch.
The Library
When you enter the library from the south it's got very very high ceilings and there is a short walkway sectioned off by two sitting areas on either side of the archway from the corridor with velvet seats in varying shapes and colors. To the west is a longer walkway that leads to my room that is concealed by a heavy velvet curtain and has a door with a gold wolf's head on the center that is another lock and on the eastern side is the door to the baths in an alcove which is stained glass and always billowing steam. The floors are made of white marble with traces of gold and pale blue veining and there are pillars of the same marble at each edge of each sitting area.
On the northern wall, curving around to the northeast and Southeast are bookshelves with books in every language on every subject imaginable, bound in deep jewel toned leather that ascend with balconies surrounded by dark wood railings.
As the library gets higher up, the tiers start disappearing and the books begin floating like dust into a slowly rotating vortex of clouds with about a softball sized dark point at the very apex.
There are some tables and chairs some stacked with books on the ground floor of the shelved area as well.
To the north is the Conservatory, you can always hear bird and animal sounds coming from it and smell/feel humidity. It's door is made of self repairing clear glass that repairs with gold veins.
More to be added.
