integrating

Energy has been a great preoccupation of Man and synergy has been overlooked. Synergy is to energy as integration is to differentiation. Energy is differentiating out and synergy is integrating. - Buckminster Fuller (via sumballein) Negentropy is the word used for reverse entropy. Energy in this quote is = to entropy. Synergy here is = to Negetropy

The emotional component of the Christian life isn’t always as present as we would like. It often lags behind, as the English Reformer John Bradford said, “Faith must first go before, and then feeling will follow.”
Doctrine and Devotion | Human beings are emotional creatures. We love or hate, feel happy or sad, angry or joyful. And yet christians sometimes struggle with integrating emotion into their spiritual lives and end up falling victim to dangerous tendencies when...
also stop pretending that integration isn’t a potential healthy goal for systems. not all of us want to just “accept” that we’re different people and we might actually want to try and become more like one singular person. like i dont mind if someone’s system doesnt want to integrate, but stop hating on those of us who do

Remember to stay hydrated, have a snack, and to regularly take breaks!

So can integration just... Happen?
It feels like a main alter, Rook, and a dormant alter, Erin, have "merged" together.
Rook was an angry protector for a long time, and just over the past year had mellowed out a bit. Erin didn't seem to play much of a role and was pretty dormant. They are still called Rook, but it... feels different. They're both there, but are the same person?! Feels weird.
