The name "Tokay" is based on the mating call of the males. The photos I've picked are some of the calmest inaturalist observations of tokay geckos I could find, but these geckos will not hesitate to let you know how they feel if they are upset with you, as in many other inaturalist observations. The term "Gecko" comes from this species.

house centipede?

Surprisingly, I've never seen one of these in real life. I have had the pleasure of having millipedes wind up in my house though.
