I was talking to my friend a while ago and when I brought up Riddler being my favorite Batman character they had said, “Why? He isn’t even strong.”

And while I could argue for hours about different kinds of strength and mental fortification, my simple answer was: “EXACTLY.”

I love Riddler because I can list a dozen comic book characters with strength that rivals Superman, a dozen characters that are intelligent or have charisma, but those instances are hardly separated. In comic universes you usually only have the strong “perfect” character or “the other”. And while that can be interesting, I also find a certain fascination with the way that Riddler manages to lack superhuman abilities and yet still be more than just “the other”.

Based on seeing discussions of the entity known as a blorbo, I have come to the conclusion that I have somehow come to aquire a few. And that they are all in the form of rpg systems.

At first I found it kind of odd that Tsukasa would ask such a question out of the blue. But I let it go because I thought he was just asking for no particular reason, just to double check, see her expression clearly so he knows she’s genuine ( That’s why he’s holding her face ).

But now I think he may have actually sensed she felt some type of way, had some different emotions about their whole operation. What they were doing to grant her wish, hurting people in order to get what she wants.

Now I realize, she must have actually had been feeling guilty, or rethinking twice about her actions. And Tsukasa knows. He can sense people’s most wanted desires through their hearts, specially non-humans. I wonder if this was the same case as it was when former Mitsuba’s wish changed so suddenly. Because then, Tsukasa popped up, and came to figure out why and how it had changed in the first place.

Sakura must have had a brief change of heart, and Tsukasa felt it, so he wanted double affirmation, to see if this was really what Sakura wants.

Whatever her wish may be, she must, or must have felt a little remorseful of her actions. Knowing she’s going to hurt so much people. Maybe? Or maybe she had a change of heart for another reason?

That also may be why she doesn’t look so happy in this art.

I wondered why she didn’t, despite her wish feeling so close to coming true. And it is. In canon, only two more yorishiros are left ( Or three, if Mitsuba gets one unexpectedly ).

Yeah, she is always expressionless, having a simple face on. But she looks more tense than she does regularly.

She’s looking down in the art, maybe in thought.

I wonder if she will end up changing her mind.

Supernaturals’ and humans’ desires are endless, after all. She can’t be excluded.

as i lay in bed, scrolling through tumblr and fanfiction websites, i am reminded that once when i was young my caregiver completely removed my access to social media, because she saw i was friends with someone with satan in their name.

as i lay in bed, scrolling, i see a notification that @poopypiss liked my post, and i smile to myself, knowing that names are simply what we make of them, and that tumblr has made the most of them.

Wonder

Maybe people speak of Humanity's impressive strength or creativity, or just all around weirdness, but I am here to inform you of something I find far more fascinating.

Their sense of wonder and discovery.

See, when a human finds something new and mind boggling, something rare and unheard of, they do not keep it to themselves like other species would. They do not send it to the black market for money, even if they are low on it.

Instead, they share it. They share this discovery with joy and fervour, happily sending it to their scientists or a museum, and sharing it on their internet for others to see and experience as well.

When humans looked to the stars for the first time, when they took their first step on an extraterrestrial body that was not their own planet, they broadcasted it to the world. It was just their moon, but that is every species' first step. When the human race took to the galaxy, they went on wings of metal and dreams of stardust.

They do not hesitate no matter if it is dangerous and terrifying or calm and beautiful. They do not hesitate.

So I ask you, what will you do the next time you find something new?

so this week i've got exams, and so i started taking my adhd meds again. it’s so incredibly strange for me to take them because my head gets so quiet. like, it’s so weird that normal people don’t have like 2-3 songs playing with 4 different trains of thought + internally narrating everything? it’s just.. quiet. it’s so strange.
