People are poisoning themselves by trying to treat COVID-19 with a horse de-wormer, report says

There are a lot of things a person can take to boost the immune system and protect against COVID-19, but horse de-wormer isn’t one of them.

And, unfortunately, in 2021 that’s a sentence that had to be written because according to a story on Yahoo.com, people are poisoning themselves with the drug Ivermectin in an attempt to treat and prevent COVID-19.

It is a drug that is commonly used to de-worm horses.

According to the article, the drug is “one of many unproven and unsafe hacks promoted on the internet,” to treat the virus. It said people have been getting the drug from veterinarians and then taking horse-sized doses.

And because horses are much larger than humans that is not a good thing.

Also, again, according to the report Ivermectin is “not a cure, treatment or preventative medicine for COVID-19.” The drug is, however, ‘used as an anti-parasite cream on dogs, cats and horses,” and “can eliminate lice, scabies and worms in mammals,” according to the report.

And taking a horse-sized dose of the drug can result in seizures, coma, lung issues and heart problems, it said. The report cited Missouri’s Poison Center as reporting a “40 to 50 call” increase involving the drug, recently. And, the center said it recommends folks avoid taking their pet’s medication to try to combat coronavirus and, instead, look into a vaccine or contact their doctor right away if they believe they have the virus.

The story compared the Ivermectin/COVID-19 myth to the other crazy COVID cure suggestions online — such as drinking bleach. And, to be clear, drinking bleach doesn’t treat COVID-19 and is very, very bad for you.

Take your vitamins. Wear masks. Social distance. All good.

But since you’re not a horse, and COVID-19 isn’t lice, scabies or worms, leave the Ivermectin on the shelf and call a doctor.

So the Covid Death Rate for yesterday alone, (I check them everyday), was 2,200+

That's the largest number we've had in one day for a while now, the numbers have been around 1,500 a day as of very recently.

And while anti-vaxxers are dying by the thousands per day now, they're also apparently shitting themselves with diarrhea by taking animal meds.

The 20 year anniversary of 9/11 is coming up. We're currently at 635,000+ dead from Covid in the U.S.
