OH! And just like that, yes, Leena left the warehouse. Mrs. Frederic told her to go, and she did! Nothing happened after that! Nothing at all! Day over! 😭

FAQ
Magical Creatures Warehouse 13 AU
Draconic Artie
Werewolf Myka
Gargoyle Pete
Witch Claudia
Changeling Steve
Vampire HG
Caretaker Mrs. Frederic
Random Details:
Caretakers are vaguely fae-like supernatural creatures. Basically function the same as canon, except up the uncannyness to 11 and give them all kinds of warehouse related bullshit. Functionally immortal when in the warehouse. Weird symbiotic bond with the warehouse, they’re not necessarily the same mind but think classic ‘psychic twins’ sort of thing.
Artie isn’t actually a dragon, but he has a lot of dragon traits, unclear how he developed them, but he has thicker, rougher skin than a human, and his voice is a lot stronger when he tries. His presence is intimidating to pretty much everyone when he’s genuinely mad.
Pete doesn’t really feel temperature, but his skin is ice-cold to the touch and his lips and fingertips are always tinged blue.
Myka got turned shortly before she met Sam, and she told Sam before they became lovers.
HG sought out a vampire to turn her after Christina died, specifically so she could drain Christina’s killers herself.
Claudia doesn’t use magic very consciously, but it tends to bend the world around her to her needs. Usually, this just means her inventions don’t fail as often, or she doesn’t get zapped even when not following electrical safety protocols, but sometimes the change is much bigger.
Claudia is much worse off in episode four because her magic has been exhausting itself helping to keep her alive and protecting her long enough to find the warehouse and Artie and get Joshua back.
Magic isn’t super well known, it’s not a secret but it isn’t something that gets a lot of media coverage so most people don’t know about it unless it personally affects them.
Steve doesn’t know what happened to the ‘original Steve’. His parents know he’s a changeling though, and while it doesn’t have as big of an effect as it could on their view of him, their relationship has always been a little strained in ways Steve only really started to see into adulthood.
Olivia always treated Steve as her brother, but as a different person from ‘Stevie’, the original child who wandered into the fae realm. Because of this, Steve always saw Stevie as a brother he’d never met.
The longer Claudia spends in the warehouse, the more it can change itself or have a bigger effect on reality by pulling slightly on her magic. She doesn’t notice this. Artie starts catching on halfway through season one.
Artie has naturally warm skin but never really gets hot or cold. He never has to wear mitts taking cookies out of the oven.
It’s just as unclear as in canon what exactly is up with Leena, but she knows what’s up with you.
Macphearson is actually fully human, but the shadows are a little deeper where he stands, and you shouldn’t listen too closely to the whistling of the wind when he’s nearby.
HG managed to avoid being caught as a vampire by the regents until after she was unbronzed, though Wolly knew.
Myka tends to depersonalize her werewolf-ness as much as possible, and basically doesn’t acknowledge it at all unless it’s relevant in which case she addresses it very noticeably professionally.
Claudia can’t consciously affect luck or rearrange reality despite how much it happens around her without her input. When she actively uses magic, it’s typically in the form of electricity because of her familiarity with it. As she invents more things in the warehouse she gets used to manipulating metal. (She also figures out how to weld very quickly.)
Artie knows tons about magic and mythical creatures because otherwise it’s hard to figure out what is an artifact and what’s a Qilin or something.
Part of why Pete is so animated and moving all the time is because if he stops paying attention, he goes stone still (pardon the pun). He freaked a lot of people out in high school and college before he started masking that.
Something about Steve unnerves people but if you asked them, they wouldn’t be able to tell you what the problem is.
When Artie gets too stressed his hands lock up in a curled position like a bird of prey. It annoys him to no end because it’s basically impossible to let go of whatever he’s holding until he feels better.
HG feeds mostly on animals in small enough amounts to leave them fine, but she doesn’t really care about feeding on humans she thinks deserve it. (We love morally grey women in this house)
Pete always knows when someone is magical.
He also always knows when it’s going to rain.
Claudia basically didn’t take care of herself for years because her magic kept her alive so she didn’t notice. It’s a learning process developing healthy habits like eating and drinking.
Neither Joshua nor Claire are magic.
All applicable characters still have their ‘superpowers’/special skills (ie. Pete’s vibes or Steve’s lie detecting) but they are notably not related to being magical or creatures. They’re weird by their own merits thank you very much.
The whole warehouse fam is Weird, but they very quickly fall into each other’s patterns and twist around their quirks until you’d almost think they’re normal if you glance by too quickly.
Outside of missions the vibe in the b&b is very strong uncanny sitcom.
Myka gets more ‘wolfy’ the more comfortable she gets with everyone, and the more comfortable they help her be with herself. (She never hated her werewolf side, she compartmentalizes too much for that, but it was always a tool, always something off to the side, rather than a part of her.)
Vampires operate under more “Dracula” rules than “Nosferatu” rules, the sun weakens them to slightly below an average human but it won’t kill them. During the night they are physically very tough, the only exceptions to that are the classic weaknesses which work as well as you’d expect.
The residents of Univille still hate the agents. It’s still because they all think they’re IRS.
Because of her magic, Claudia’s the hardest member of the team to kill. This changes basically nothing as nobody is willing to put her in unnecessary danger same as canon. (Because she is a teenager.) (I don’t fully understand all the stuff with Claudia’s age but I’m going with her being 19 in the latter half of season one and 21 in season four. Extrapolate from there)
Artifacts react to magical creatures slightly differently depending on the artifact and the creature, this makes 100 things harder for every 3 things it makes easier.
Pete weighs more than he reasonably should, but only when it’s convenient for him.
Myka’s joints bend just slightly wrong, usually not enough to notice.
HG has very little sense of taste, this doesn’t really bother her.
After being bronzed, HG looks tan in low light, she exploits this a lot to avoid being recognized.
Pete can’t swim.
Magic works differently for different witches, typically it’s not very powerful, Claudia is very much an exception (probably because of her connection to the warehouse but maybe not. Who knows?) Claudia doesn’t actually realize how powerful her magic is for a long time because it works in invisible ways or it’s doing things it’s been doing for so long she doesn’t notice. (Like keeping her alive)
Steve moves wrong, just slightly too twitchy, before moving too smoothly. He also doesn’t hold his head up quite right.
Pete doesn’t really sleep, he just goes really still and enters ‘power-saving mode’ during which his skin becomes stone and he can’t move. He can perceive though.
Later on, Myka lets Pete hang out with her on full moons if he’s in gargoyle mode because she can’t hurt him and doesn’t feel any need to. Everyone else stays inside the b&b on her request.
Artie uses an industrial sander to file down his nails, he almost gave Claudia a heart attack the first time she saw it.
After the Metronome, Steve can always feel Claudia’s magic, and through it he pretty much always knows how far away she is and how she’s feeling. He ends up getting sent to retrieve her from inventory duty a lot. It also helps him navigate the warehouse stacks.
Artie doesn’t have a caretaker level connection to the warehouse, but he does know where every artifact he’s retrieved is and remembers every single one.
HG always knows what time it is.
I haven’t decided if this is a fix-it AU yet. (it probably will be, knowing myself. Also because it would be slightly boring to just retell the original story basically as it happened rather than with snowballing changes leading to a greater theme as is my preference.)
I’ll probably also add more to this later.

Summary
The Warehouse gang celebrates Halloween a few months after stopping General Valda’s attempted coup and having made their submissions to the Round Table time capsule, with the intent of hitting up a costume party in Featherhead.
Naturally, an artifact arrives right at their doorstep and makes things more interesting. Now, while Pete and Steve (...and Steve) raise the roof, the Witches of Warehouse 13 find themselves walking down, down, down a dangerous road, through many miles of tricks and trials - and where it leads, no one knows…
Artie and Vanessa try out costumes and hand out candy in Atlanta.
Steve is of two minds about whether he should go to the party or not.
Claudia is living it up with her found family while she still has time.
Pete and Myka are dancing around each other before the music even starts.
Helena is afraid she’s stepping on toes even though she was asked to join the dance.
Abigail had no intention of having such an exciting night.
Mrs. Frederic is not happy to be involved.

okay, but now that i have a wheel of time/warehouse 13 au floating around in my head, imagine if the blue ajah decided that one of their "causes"/super spy responsibilities was to find objects of power (like ter'angreal) and bring them safely back to the white tower. their extensive eyes-and-ears network keeps an eye out for rumors, and then they send in a group of sisters to actually secure the objects.
imagine myka as an aes sedai in her thirties or forties, a decade or two after becoming a full sister. she's a blue, of course (though you can bet the browns, reds, and greens were all after her). she's skilled with the one power, but also insanely smart. she's not quite as good at tower politics as some, so she's happy to be out in the field, doing some good work. myka is bonded to pete - she never would have guessed he would be a good warder for her, but he brings out her optimism and makes her smile, and he would do anything to keep her safe. (possibly she had a previous bond to sam before he died, and she's still a little bit healing from that.)
imagine claudia as a brand-new blue sister, maybe less than a year after taking the oaths. she was probably discovered by this group during one of their trips, years ago, and now she's determined to become one of their number. her strength in the power is incredible - she's probably the strongest of all of them - but she has the least experience. she has not bonded a warder yet, but when she does, it will probably be a blonde, blue-eyed boy who can tell when people are lying (a talent that's a bit irrelevant when aes sedai can't lie, but other people definitely can).
imagine vanessa as an older blue sister who's been doing this for a while. yes, she's blue, not yellow. she's a skilled healer, to be sure, but her passion was always for justice and doing good in the world, not just for healing the sick and injured, so she ended up going blue (much to the chagrin of the yellows). her overall strength in the power is less than myka's or claudia's, but they still defer to her as their leader. vanessa is by far the most adept at navigating the treacherous politics of the tower, and she also has a way with ordinary people that myka tries to emulate. she has been bonded to artie to decades. he's the very definition of the stoic (grumpy) warder stereotype.
imagine leena as the brown sister who actually takes care of the objects once they make it back to the tower. she's the only non-blue sister who has access to exactly what the group is doing. (not that their mission is a secret, per se - obviously the other aes sedai know these blue sisters are bringing back ter'angreal and such, but they don't know the details, you know.) leena rarely leaves the tower to travel with them, but once in a while she'll tag along. she does not have a warder, and isn't really looking for one. she's more concerned with taking care of her sisters, and the powerful objects they find.
imagine helena as a green sister who ingratiates herself into the group from time to time, because she feels like it. though artie is convinced helena is there to spy on them, most of the group gets along with her well enough. her cunning and charm has helped them secure targeted objects on a few occasions. she currently has two warders, wolly and liam, who both somehow put up with helena's antics. unlike some of her green sisters, helena is not romantically involved with either of her warders. instead, her interest appears to lie with myka - and that's probably half the reason she spends time with the group at all.
imagine mrs frederic as irene sedai, the head of the blue ajah, who is ultimately in charge of all these idiots (other than leena and helena, i suppose). she could be the amyrlin seat, if she were so inclined. but for now, she's got her hands full making sure no one screws anything up too badly.
at the police station
mrs f: WHAT did you do?!
claudia: no no no, it's not that bad!
mrs f: YOU ARE CHAINED TO THE FLOOR.
