Dorian and Cole waved from across the chasm and Irila scratched her head at the situation. "Are you okay?" “Yes, apparently!“ Dorian answered, panting. “Don’t worry, we’ll make it to the ruins... somehow.“ “How about that other bridge? We could meet there.“ “After this? I’d rather go around or find a stone one!“ And Irilla sighed. Fair enough. “Alright, at the ruins then. Good luck with it!”

She waved her goodbye and turned to Bull. “Well, just the two of us then.“

[Please note: I have yet to finish Inquisition and I have yet to start the first two games. While spoilers are pretty much unavoidable in DA, I would like to minimize them if possible.]

Some Details

Irilla is a mage, specialized as a knight enchanter who eagerly fights in melee

It took quite a couple of weeks for her to finally ask Varric who or what Andraste is

After witnessing the possible future at Redcliffe, she undeniably changed. Before it, she kinda just went with the flow of things, but after it, she became absolutely hellbent on preventing that future, at any cost.

She sided with the mages and let them be free, and recruited the wardens

In the game, she became close friends with everyone except Cassandra and Vivienne, becoming at least friendly with Cass and at most mutually helpful but neutral with Viv. Obviously though, Rps don’t need to go with this.

Ingame Kit: Irilla

Role: Melee mage / fighter

(P) Passive: The Coming Darkness

Neutral Rifts periodically spawn on the map, slowing and damaging all non-monster units in an area around them, even allies. Irilla has and radiates The Purge buff to her nearby allies, which makes them immune to Rifts and grants them bonus adaptive force when near one. There is a maximum number of rifts on each side of the map, and Irilla’s team sees opening rifts on the map 2 minutes in advance. A Rift becomes visible 10 seconds before it opens, and once it does, both teams may attempt to destroy it for 50 gold. Rifts deal % max health magic damage and grow more powerful with time.

Irilla may attempt to basic attack a Rift, she will then channel for a short time and destroy it, gaining experience and 1 stack of Purged. Each stack of Purged grants her some AP and health, and all her abilities scale with it.

(Q): Arcane Blade

Passive: Irilla’s basic attacks deal bonus magic damage.

Active: Irilla slashes in an arc, dealing execute damage, destroying shields and silencing struck enemies.

(W): Fade Step

Active: Irilla dashes at the target direction, gaining a small shield. Dashing through at least one enemy champion refunds mana, grants additional shield, halves this ability’s cooldown, and slows the enemy.

Passive: Irilla gains a shield for a portion of the damage she deals, doubled from her Q.

(E): Chain Lightning

Strike the target enemy with lightning, dealing damage and stunning it. The effect chains to a maximum of 4 other unique units, preferring champions. Its effects are reduced by 20% on each new target and its cooldown is reduced by 1 second for each champion hit.

®: Abyss

Irilla channels for 1 second to open a Grand Rift in the area for 5 seconds. The Grand Rift deals increasing damage each half second, capped after 3 seconds, at which point it suppresses all enemies inside for 2 seconds. All allies are immune to the Grand Rift.

It was a special day, and certainly a tense one for many. The Purgator came, and that meant the Void might be near. Demacians all too often were weary of the elven kind, but the kind gaze of Irilla was met with a whole mixture of emotions instead.

She spoke with the local commander, and new orders swept through the outpost. By the time she sat back on her magnificent elk, a number of his troops were waiting to follow her. She didn’t need them for long, just had to burrow them for a few days.

“Alright, let’s go! A rift needs sealing and we have little time.“ And she rode, prompting the troops to follow.
