Their first kiss happened when they were both thirteen;

They both hadn’t kissed anyone yet and were close enough friends that just doing it to get it out of the way didn’t make things too weird;

So they met at their preferred hangout spot (this very old, abandoned playground) at nightfall and just went for it;

It was awful;

But they kept kissing each other as practise until they got the hang of it;

They stopped meeting once Iris started dating her first boyfriend;

They didn’t dare to even mention it for the longest time;

But after they had grown up a little bit and realised that it wasn’t the shameful secret they both thought it was it became a running joke between them.
