I love the moment where the last of Patroclus' funeral games comes up, the spear-throwing. Agamemnon and Meriones stand up to compete and Achilles immediately just goes, "no, no Agamemnon, we all know u are the bestest at spear-throwing, imma just give u the prizes automatically, let's not bother going through the motions." Bc....so many ways to take this/ponder Why.

Some examples/food for thought:

-Achilles just wanting to prove he and Agamemnon are besties again - everyone look at how besties we are!

-Achilles looking at the GIGANTIC HOLE that's still gaping through Agamemnon’s spear-chucking arm, knowing this bitch WILL reopen that wound and is not capable of half-arseing anything and just...does not want to deal with that rn.

-Achilles still being lowkey salty @ Agamemnon and does not want to witness him Do Well in anything. T'would sicken him!!!

-Achilles just Knows Agamemnon loves the pretty cauldron with the lovely flowers on it and will be broken-hearted if he isn't cooking fabulous stew in it by nightfall and Achilles doesn't want to break Agamemnon’s lil heart in this.

I spent pretty much my whole weekend playing the Koffees and making updates to their house. It’s a renovation of that one house in Henford where that one old couple lives (I believe). They died right around the time Amari and Emelia were looking to move and had the exact number of rooms they were looking for so I felt like it was meant to be, lol.

Good lord. I really fucking wish people would stop using this sort of language. It doesn’t signal anything. It isn’t clever. No one is “hiding in plain sight”. Everyone acts like this is some fucking episode of Law and Order where if we collect all the clues we’ll win the case.
