So something that I haven't seen mentioned around the Dragon Age Veilguard trailer is how many times we see, what I would argue, is the same dragon.

While a dragon does appear seven times in the trailer (something I have seen pointed out), we only actually see three dragons, imo.

There's the blue one that looks unwell, the one with the VERY ornate horns, and the one with the traditional DA high dragon skull. That last one we see the most of, and it looks like its health deteriorates dramatically through the trailer until in its final appearance where I would argue that I don't believe it is actually "alive" any longer.

My theory is that we are seeing the same dragon in several states along its corruption, possibly from red lyrium based on the glow, though the blue dragon looks like its in far worse shape at least initially.
