So it’s Noah’s day off.

Unfortunately, even a hard-working deputy doesn’t always get a lot of peace and quiet at home. This is especially true now that the baby has become the toddler and doesn’t seem to know how to either stop moving or stop making noise. For this reason, Claudia took Mischief to the park to try and burn off some of his exceptional amount of excess energy. They’ve been gone for a few hours and it’s been nice and quiet in the Stilinski house living room, where the couch has been soft and comfortable and the perfect place for a nap.

It had been.

It is no longer, because Noah’s family is back. The door swings open and a whirlwind of chaos comes thundering in, clumsy on his little feet, hands already reaching for his father before he’s anywhere near in range. “Dad! Dad, Dad, daaaaaaaaddddddd--!”

he knows he shouldn't be doing this, that sneaking out to go to a party to get drunk and high isn't exactly something that the family would approve of. in fact, miecz had made it plenty clear on the times he'd been caught that this wasn't acceptable behavior. maybe he thought sending jason to stay the night with his grandpa would help set him straight.

he jumps at the sound of noahs voice, immediately freezing in place as if he wasn't in an entirely compromising position. its very clear what he's trying to do. he groans, steps away from the door. he sees where his dad gets it from, this entire damn family seemingly hyper aware of when someones sneaking out. he's certainly not about to tell him that he was planning to go get high. "nowhere." said with a groan, well aware he's been caught in the act.

teddy      is ,      without      question ,       one    of      the      most     boring     human       beings      claudia      gajos      has      ever      had      the       displeasure     of      encountering . 

his      monotone     voice      is      something      straight      from      her     nightmares ,      droning     on     about      his     budding      career     in      an     investment     firm      and     what      turn     the     stock      market      will      likely      take      in     the      morning  .       she     doesn’t     care .      &      the     chances     of     claudia     actually     pursuing     a     relationship     with      this      man     are      slim      to      none ,       but     her     parents      keep       insisting      she      give     him      a     shot .   

besides  ,     these     little      dates     have      an      unexpectedly      wonderful       benefit   . 

fry      is     plopped     on     her     tongue      as     she     watches     teddy      with     feigned     interest ,       chin     resting     on     palm    of     her     hand .       they’ve     been     here     for    twenty     minutes     with     no    sign    of     him .        if    she    forced      herself     to    sit     through      another     agonizing      dinner      for     absolutely      no     reason   . . . 

just     as     she’s     on     the    verge    of     slipping     into     a     coma     from     boredom ,       the     door    opens      -----------     and     there     he    is ,      in     all      of     his     cocky    /////      handsome     glory  .       spine       straightens       as     interest     in     teddy’s      words      is       instantly      revived ,       fingers      crawling      across      tabletop      to     toy      with      his .      surprise     flickers     across      his    expression ,     which     is     easy      to      ignore    ;      though      gaze     remains     locked     on      him ,       every      last      ounce     of     her     attention      is       hyperfocused       on        one         noah       stilinski.

     “    i  brought  dinner.    ”    cosmo said as a way of greeting, shouldering his way into his father’s office with little other warning. in his hands was a large ceramic bowl with a glass lid he had tied down with a hand towel, inside was a thick smokey beef and vegetable chilli. he set the bowl down on the sheriff’s desk and pulled a pair of spoons from his pocket and pulled up a chair. evidently, cosmo had decided to eat his dinner with his father that night and it was non-negotiable.    “    c’mon,  whatever  case  it  is  will  still  be  there  in  a  half - hour.    ”    cosmo said as he handed one of the spoons over to noah, waving it at him for emphasis.  //  @itssheriffstilinski​  ♡‘d  for  a  starter

harry was a mess of bad decisions and too much ambition, but he had found something of a kindred spirit in noah. like harry, he was unpredictable and impulsive and it made for interesting interactions, though they were temporary connections. whenever their paths crossed, it was as if the pair were in a constant state of competition of who could be the worst. harry didn’t mind, in fact, he enjoyed the challenge of finding where noah drew the line.

          “    it’s  like  you  don’t  even  know  me.    ”    harry accused. he stared at the uniformed police officer while he nursed his jaw thoughtfully. wondering briefly how to do as he had been dared and which escape routes he would need to take if things went south.

    “    let’s  make  a bet.    ”    harry began, the corner of his lip tugging into a sly grin,    “    if  i  get  away  with  this  .  .  .  you  have  to  do  something  for  me.    ”
