We officially have a jelly bean!!!! 6 weeks! Blueberry or jelly bean! :)
It just got real!!!
Well would ya look a there! My body can do it’s job!!! Breathe believe conceive recieve! *correction cetrotide! That’s what I get for letting the kids help! lol
Day 3 ivf stims
Cd 6 and third day of stims!
I’m exhausted and hot! It is 5million degrees here in the south, but I’m sure the hormones are helping!!!
We also have two extra kids under two, rounding us out at 6mo, 15mo, 22 mo and 9! The two babies cry constantly! But we’re loving on them through monday!! We got this!
Back to stims... day one- easy peasy! Day two soreness and bruising in the tummy and my ovaries feel stretchy. Day three- I forgot to eat all day! My shots made me dizzy and I’m not sure if it’s the shots or just not eating! Shots hurt worse today that the first two days!
I’ve tried icing and heat alternating to help! It’s not so much the shots that hurt but the soreness of my tummy and lower pelvic area!
Oh the joys of scientifically creating life!
Perfect outcome!!!! We have 5 embabies!!!!! Doing a day 6 transfer! Friday we will do the hcg wash and Intralipids. All I can do to make this stick in round one- we are trying!
We’ve made it to New York! We’re about 2.5 hours away from Syracuse and so excited for tomorrow’s appointment for our egg retrieval! I am so uncomfortable and my belly is a little bruised and sore to the touch! I think the prednisone keeping me up and the subsequent constipation are the worst symptoms though! (Although I’m sure Leah would disagree! I’m very emotional and cry at the drop of a hat currently!)
Cd8
All tests are completed! All 27 vials of blood, saline sonogram and ultrasound as well as the HSG are done!
The hsg was more painful this time and there was much more cramping post procedure- BUT we have a hospitable environment!
Tonight I will start provera and pray for a period for the first time in AGES! Then we get to start our journey!!!
This is the body of ivf: swollen tummy, hot flashes, pin cushion, short fused, and exhausted! These hormones are killing me! But he/she/they will be worth it!!!
