there's something about the way jackie in this film nuzzles her head into the crook of jack and bobby's necks, respectively. with jack, it's reverent yet fragile. almost reserved. careful with her affection because if she's not she might shatter the moment altogether. a haunting awareness as she opens her eyes in the final few seconds like she can't really trust it. him. but with bobby, she digs into his neck as if the only place she'll find refuge is within him. she grips onto him tightly without fear or hesitation. it feels and looks more raw and real and desperate, a type of desperation that requires trust on both sides. pablo larraín i got exactly what you were putting down #trust.
