OOH HOW ABOUT SOME LIVESIES JACK HC’S???? Or like lore. Give me your Brian thoughts.
He is 40% leader, 30% menace, 30% theatre kid who discovered feelings for the first time and did NOT handle it calmly.
The second someone compliments his singing voice he pretends he didn’t hear it but is internally like: oh. oh no. they noticed.
Dramatic. Not just dramatic. Broadway dramatic. If he’s mildly inconvenienced he’s leaning against a wall like he’s about to start “Santa Fe.”
He absolutely warms up his voice in the most obnoxious scales backstage and pretends it’s casual. It is not casual.
Protective older brother energy but in a “I will throw hands and then cry about it later” way.
He flirts like it’s a competitive sport. Doesn’t matter if it’s Katherine, Davey, or a random newsie — he will test the waters. But the second it’s reciprocated? Buffering.
100% the kind of boyfriend who:
tucks his partner’s hair behind their ear
brushes hands on purpose
acts cocky but absolutely melts if they grab his suspenders
When he’s stressed, he paces. Big stage strides. Like he’s blocking a scene.
He uses humor as armor. The sass? Defense mechanism. If he actually opens up? That’s endgame.
He lowkey loves when someone challenges him. He acts annoyed but he’s like: oh you’re not intimidated by me? Interesting.
He gets jealous but tries to pretend he’s chill about it. He is not chill. He’s over there aggressively flipping a coin.
Livesies Jack smiles softer than movie Jack. It’s subtle but it’s THERE. The boy is capable of tenderness and it wrecks me.
If he falls first? He falls HARD. Like suddenly he’s planning a future in Santa Fe and accidentally including someone else in it.
The second someone gets hurt in a fight he switches from cocky to serious in 0.2 seconds. Voice drops. Eyes sharpen. Leader mode activated.
He absolutely hums show tunes absentmindedly. Someone calls him out and he’s like: I dunno what you’re talkin’ about.
He’d be the type to kiss someone mid-argument just to shut them up and then immediately look stunned that he did that.
Onstage Livesies Jack has this softness in “Something to Believe In” that makes you go “oh he is GONE.” Like sir you are not emotionally stable about this person.
HOW WAS THAT ? 🥹

New world, new rules. Casual Friday is now every day in hockey world.
seeing theories of jack marston joining ww1 makes me giggle because. i promise you, if anyone from the government tries to tell jack marston what he is and isn’t doing, they are getting shot.
in fact, they’re getting lassoed and dragged on the back on his horse.
I’m dodging Dispatch spoilers like crazy because I haven’t watched 7 and 8 yet😭 I was holding out for CoryxKenshin but he hasn’t pulled through yet…. Jaaaaccccckkkkkk
