I like how everyone (or at least Zooble and Pomni) clocked on Jax not being okay and encouraged him to not leave them.

"what did you draw anyway?"
"Nothing, it's dumb."

One lil detail I noticed about Pomni and Jax’s fight in episode 6 is that Pomni yells at him to fight back. I’m sure this has been pointed out before, but it’s really interesting how, when confronted, Jax can’t actually bring himself to be violent. He provokes everyone constantly, but he is still a prey animal at the end of the day. He’s non-confrontational and absolutely has no idea how to handle Pomni being so direct. Not only does it show that he doesn’t really wanna hurt Pomni, but that he’s scared to. Scared to fuck things up, scared to actively be violent. Violent may be a strong word, but you get the gist. He can’t stand the idea of actually directly harming someone.
Which is funny, cause he ends up hurting people anyways. It’s just that he does it by avoiding them, so he can turn away and ignore their pain and try to outrun his own guilt. Hurting people out of cowardice instead of direct anger. He probably wouldn’t be able to stomach hurting someone directly, cause it would make him confront what an asshole he is. What he’s really doing to the people around him. God. Little freak who can’t face himself in the mirror. Squeezes him like a stress ball.
Hey so I'm making a video on Jax, one thing I wanna talk about is the fan reception to her throughout the show's run, so here's a question out of a curiosity for the people that have been following this show since early on
what have your feelings on Jax been throughout TADC's run?
Loved Jax throughout the whole show
Hated Jax throughout the whole show
Hated Jax in the early eps but grew to love him in later episodes
Loved Jax in the early eps but grew to hate him in later episodes
ups and downs throughout the series
consistently mixed feelings throughout

Would love to hear any elaboration in the comments!
I keep seeing people hating on Jax and I'm sick of it so I made a Jax appreciation club
For people who love Jax for who he is, flaws and all 💜
Only join if you actually like Jax and you won't be a jerk to/about him
I think it’s really interesting Jax used the sound of the sink as a grounding method (1: as if he’s done it before) and two because in the first episode he mentions “quiet I can’t hear the escalator” so I think this means Jax finds low rhythmic sounds relaxing
Maybe this plays into him being a rabbit? Idk
I feel nothing and everything all at once.
I like how Jax can basically parallel every single character from the series:
• Pomni is open and honest? Jax is avoidant.
• Gangle masks? Jax is the first to put on an act every breathing second.
• Zooble is open about their gender identity? Jax very much Isn't.
• Ragatha tries to be as nice as possible to cope with her mommy issue? Jax does the exact opposite.
• Caine loves humans so much he decided to drastically change himself to apologize and figure out a way to fit in? Jax forced himself to not change at all.
• Kinger "acts crazy" all the time, but he genuinely cares and tries to be there for others and give them advice whenever he's lucid? Jax pretends to not care and only gives harmful advice, showing whenever he does that he's the real broken one between the two.
