Infatuation

Before I was alone, so alone I have zero contacts on my phone.

Okay I think this is just about finished W 😎 well now all I have to do. Is lock it in, rerecord this section on my professional mic and get to work on carving it out into a full song with more layers. Ooo I'm so excited ^^

The only time I'm ever truly alone is when the thought of you slips away from me.

It's like this cold darkness creeps in.. Well that's a way of describing these uncomfortable sensations but it feels so absolute over me that it's suffocating.

A lot of the time you're the only thing that keeps me from thinking it's the whole world. Everyone else has breathed in the void for so long it's what they've become.

I don't like thinking about anyone else. Not when you're like warm blanket fresh out the dryer. If you were light you'd be a fire, the warm deep sunset type. Cozy in my winter coat slipping the smooth crisp air if you were ever cold.

You're my last reminder of the pleasant memories in life...

Oh wow. Well my ability to compose and perform has certainly come so far from the beginning of writing this peice of music. So many additions were added over time. So many variations came to me. Like it was truly overwhelming just to connect myself with this instrument after all these years. I only ever learn one or two songs on my Uke. The confidence in making these movements and transitions with my hands with my hands really impresses myself. This is my first attempt at ever composing chords on a true acoustic instrument. It was so unbelievable fun to connect with amd taught me so much. I know it probably gets repetitive to hear so many times. This more polished version still has it's flaws but it's still on going which is the fun part to me. I just thought I'd update using words to describe this milestone I've made. I have been spamming about it so I think I'm gonna leave it under the cut. Thanks for sticking with me on this journey as I continue to shape this peice however I want. It has always been a privilege to be able to spend time with myself and express through music, it has been therapeutic and calming. It took commitment and discipline as all worth while things do. I'm very happy I stuck with picking it up. It was actually a lot of fun.
