Phantom UK Tour Brochure 2000!

This brochure has at least 3 Christines.

Deborah Dutcher who was the principal at the time, pictures 1-4 and possibly picture 5 but I’m not 100% sure that is her.

Joanne Pullen who was the alternate at the time, there are not many pictures of her in circulation but I believe the wishing picture (6) is her.

Zoë Curlett who was the principal in the previous cast, pictures 7-9.

Hi, I received this brochure today and it has a picture of a Christine I don’t recognise. I looked through your tags but couldnt find the picture.

It is from a UK Tour brochure from 2000, the Christines listed are Deborah Dutcher & Joanne Pullen.

I don’t think it is Deborah (but I might be wrong) and I know there are not many pictures available of Joanne.

I’m not sure which one it is so I was wondering if you might be able to help?

Oh wow, I have never seen that one before. How cool!

My gut feeling says Joanne Pullen, or Joanne Gray as she is known today. It’s definitely not Deborah Dutcher, and the UK brochures has always been good with including photos of the actual current cast. And albeit a different angle, it also resembles a more recent headshot, especially the eyes:

So without knowing, I’d say the Mausoleum photo shows Joanne Pullen / Gray. But if anyone else have an input, feel free!

‘Think of Me’ - Joanne Pullen and Tom Sellwood

Mostly for my own reference: The January 2000 cast of the UK tour (Southampton stop, Mayflower Theatre). I observe that Amy Nuttall here is listed as "Page", while Rhianydd Beaumont is listed as "Princess". Still, Amy Nuttall was the Christine understudy, as listed at the very bottom of the page. Joanne Pullen was alternate Christine. Also, Hayley Driscoll was Meg, while Heidi Ann O'Brien was her understudy and Claire Tilling was in the cast. Lots of future West End Megs here! Oh, and Julie Steincke was Madame Giry. I saw her as Ulla in The Producers, and can in no way picture her as Madame Giry.
