How Will You Be Remembered? (Jeremiah 34-35)

Continuing our examination of Jeremiah’s prophecies, we consider Jeremiah 34-35 for today’s scripture reading.

Jeremiah 34 describes Babylon’s army laying siege to Jerusalem, and Jeremiah warns that the city will be overthrown and that the king and his citizens will be among the captives taken to Babylon.

Jeremiah 35 introduces the Rechabites as models of faithfulness.
