Questions For FNAF: Ruin
IF the Princess Quest is the canon ending of FNAF SB, and Glitchtrap was defeated, why are the Animatronics still trying to kill you? Even if the M.X.E.S is a program built afterward to contain the Mimic, as Gregory says, it calls the other animatronics to come kill you. And they CLEARLY try to kill you instead of just remove you like Sun does.
On the other hand, it's implied that at least Roxy is somewhat sentient. It could be that the moment Cassie deactivates Roxy is colored by her own perception of Roxy, but that doesn't explain why the other animatronics don't care who Cassie is. Roxy straight up falls back when e realizes you're not Gregory. The other Animatronics, who can see you, attack you regardless.
Maybe there's like a counterforce to the theorized "Agony" at play? Like, the positive memories and emotions Cassie shared with Roxy is working against the Blob's, or Glitchtrap's, agony-driven influence.
And I don't think Monty just up and became sentient enough for jealousy for no reason. It could be that someone either destroyed Bonnie FOR Monty, or that Monty was also influenced by Agony or at least was Somehow used by a human to destroy Bonnie.
It doesn't make sense that Afton's signature character would be destroyed bc of Afton's virus corrupting the Animatronics. And Apparently Bonnie's destruction happened long before the virus took effect. Unless Monty was possessed there's no other reason I can think of for him actually having emotion and destroying another Animatronic. It's one thing for AI to complicate their personalities and make them more realistically react given their programmed personalities (Like how Roxy cries after getting wrecked) but to become violent seems like a stretch, it doesn't even seem like rough and rowdy was Monty's original personality. He was cut into a cool hot-shot persona AFTER they picked em to replace Bonnie. (At least that's my impression.)
Why they didn't use Foxy instead is also on the table since Foxy apparently had an area too for log rides (log rides?)
This is simultaneously the most fake and most sincere image captured.
