Insufferable Comic Relief Round 1
Which Comic Relief is more insufferable?
Roger Harrington & Julius Dell - MCU Spider-Man Trilogy
The Gargoyles - The Huncheback of Notre Dame
Propaganda why Roger Harrington & Julius Dell are insufferable Comic Relief:
"They both act like they came straight from a Nickelodeon show where adults act like brain dead menchildren. Their side gags go on too long and extremly unfunny. They are incompetent to the level of ridiculusness, not to mention it clashes with the "coming of age dramedy" tone MCU!Spider-Man triology goes for. Everytime one of them on screen I grit my teeth, and guess I'm not the only one since the third movie only have a single (mercifully short) scene"
"MCU desperately wants every single character to be some comedic joke machine, even if it doesn't fit AT ALL. Remember when Peter Parker's teachers actually had an impact in other versions? Well, now adults are useless!"
"I don't remember Dell, but I'm pretty sure Harrington's whole joke in the 2nd one was just how pathetic he was. Comedy."
Propaganda why The Gargoyles are insufferable Comic Relief:
""I'M LoSiN' tO A BiRd!", A Guy Like You, and the one that wants to make out with a goat. I realize it was 1996, Disney, but could you not have toned it down a LITTLE?"
"1000% tonally inappropriate considering the rest of the film's plot and painfully unfunny"
"This was no comic relief, this was comedy torture. I laughed zero times. Time was wasted on them when I could have continued watching amazing scenes."
