I've known for awhile I'm demisexual, but during this pride month, I've been realizing I might also be demiromantic?? Instead of panromantic??

Like... I don't feel any sorta way unless something "clicks" on a mental/emotional/philosophical basis. Sexually OR romantically. My "default" feels kinda void, even if my love is felt in overwhelming amounts.

Like if I'm emotionally attached to someone, I'd love to hug and cuddle and leave small kisses on their hands or forehead (or them to me, depending on who's more dominant), but... I'd implode if a kiss was on the lips tbh. Like naaahh no thank you, not necessary tbh. And that's ONLY if I find myself attached. Like I said, my default is void.

My love language is... aside from time together, affirming words, and small amounts of touch, I guess... mentally stimulate me? Let me see how you think when we play chess or connect four together. Let me see the gears churn when you're figuring out your next move in jenga. Bicker intelligently and playfully with me, run circles around me, knowing you still love me anyway even if my sense of logic is imperfect. Let's make food together, I especially love to make sweets and desserts. Let's find something silly to watch and laugh at. One of us can lean on the other, we can relax, knowing we're safe with each other.
