Childe: I'm asking for your permission to date your brother.
Diluc: What is this? The dark ages? You know what, since you asked, no, you can't. Beat me in a duel.

Kaeya and the Huge Bread - chaeya fic
inspired by rose misreading "Kaeya with his heart bared" as "kaeya and his huge bread" and said it sounded like a children's book title. the rest is history :)

Kaeya watches him approach, which is exactly as unsettling as it should be - that partly calms Ajax, in a roundabout sort of way. At least the world hasn’t magically transformed into some romance novel, where he’s adopted the role of the suave love interest about to flirt his way into the protagonist’s bed. Not that he’d particularly dislike that sort of outcome, but it’s not realistic. Obviously.
Ajax Tartaglia, famous detective thriller novelist and avid reader of romance novels, stops by the local Barbatos & Noble to ask Zhongli (the store's owner and a good friend) for some children's book recommendations for his little brother. Zhongli directs him to where one Kaeya Alberich is currently giving a reading from his latest children's book release, Kaeya and the Huge Bread, and Ajax falls head over heels.
updates every wednesday!
