Summary: “Ino fixes her resting bitch face as she stares openly in a manner unbecoming of Konoha’s head interrogator toward her Hokage. There is mischief behind her blue eyes, the simmering sort that is patient and calculating. It makes Kakashi forget her comparative youth in the same way her myriad accomplishments during the last War make him forget it. This strip mahjong game, however, has proven far more dangerous to his survival than an undead Uchiha Madara hellbent on the total annihilation of their world.”

Or, Kakashi and Ino try to act normal in public. It lasts about as long as the Fourth Hokage’s reign.

Period/Arranged Marriage AU - After the death of his brother, Tobirama is left to care for his niece, and the eventual heir to the Senju estate and fortune. The land is under threat from a neighbouring nation, and the quickest way to make peace is to arrange a marriage with the fearsome Uchiha clan. Instead of marrying off his niece, Tsunade's handmaiden suggests she take her place. Tsunade has been hidden from the world, so her appearance is inconsequential, and they are the same age. She tells Tobirama to train her so that she may annihilate the threat for good, from the inside.

KakaIno:

Kakashi always knew that Yamanaka girl was scary, but he can't demand that Shikamaru stay in Konoha instead of visiting his wife's village with her. He only hoped that Shikamaru hadn't sent her to assist him in his place. Now, as if being Hokage wasn't difficult enough, he has to do it with her slinkling around in her tiny skirt and sly smirk, flicking her ponytail around with a coy "Hokage-sama, is everything okay?" when she knows damn well everything is Not Okay. He doesn't want to think about how many hours he'll have to spend apologizing to Asuma's grave if she bends over in front of his desk one more time.
