Since i don't think my comic is working out quite yet (no worries, I learned a LOT), I've decided to really break open my worldbuilding and change everything I wasn't able to before for plot reasons.
Instead of worrying about spoilers, I'm going to share the entire process of restructuring my characters, magic system, and story beats.
One of the biggest changes is that, instead of just cats, Gremansi come in all kinds of animal shapes and are pretty much furries - because I think it's fun and its my headworld and I can do what I want!
Karî was Kinged late last night! She's a clean G5 Ruffian with an Incubus mane, up for studding at 250SB! Pay with 1GB and you get 6 refunded breedings! Some lore below cut:
Bêavii was retired early to make room for Karî, something that I haven't done with any king before. In-Universe, this is because he died amongst all the chaos of the Heaven vs Hell war. Bêavii was not originally a bad person, but he was crowned at a very young age during the droughts. His rule was stalked by one misfortune after another - first the horrific droughts, then the locust plagues, then an outbreak of rabies, then a literal apocalyptic war. He felt helpless. How could he protect his lands, his lionesses, his cubs, from all these threats that loomed so large?
Every King before him had offered kindness to non-Pride lions, but Bêavii turned away from that path. Who could blame him, he thought, for making the selfish choice? For putting his own Pride above all other lions, when the world was coming down around their ears? Maybe his Pride would be safe if he joined with the darker forces. When the world is being ravaged by monsters, isn't it safest to be a monster? So he joined with the forces of Hell. He fought and he tortured and he desperately hoped it would be enough. And that choice doomed him.
The fires and demons of hell dogged his path. As Bêavii sought to bring misfortune to others, he brought misfortune wherever he walked. The lush jungle of his territory was already so weak from the droughts and the locusts. It's no surprise that the sparks caught. His world became choked with ash and smoke. He carried as many cubs as he could. He fought for so long to give his lionesses time to swim across the river. And when he could fight no longer, when he couldn't breathe past the ash, the demons came for him one last time. And his world became ash and fire forever.
As the Pride lionesses trembled in the wake, they found themselves leaderless. Their King was dead, their home destroyed. But as they picked their way through the burnt landscape, one lioness stepped up. Karî began organizing the Pride, checking on injuries, delegating tasks - she began leading, not because she wanted to, but because someone had to. She, too, was royalty, descended from the First King Sor by way of Bedengii's daughter.
The lionesses crowned her in the moonlight, at the top of the Temple of Ancestors, as was tradition. No past King came forward to offer her their pelt's colors, but every single one of their ghostly shades was there in the swirling mist. They knew Karî would need to make her own path. It was time to let these colors die with Bêavii.
Karî knew that it was Bêavii's cruelty that had doomed him and the Pride. The war was still raging, rabies was still lurking, and their territory was turned to ash, but Karî declared that there would be no more cruelty. It was time for a return to kindness and love. What little they had, they would share, and what mercy they could offer, they would. The only way to rebuild what they had lost was to rebuild it together.

I honestly donno what would her real response be but, it’s little RP scene i pictured/imagined. [Yes i will be trying to guide it a little, but not just yet. Haimeak needs to make an appearance first..] And by the looks of it, They might’ve steppped into something awesome for a place & view, but seems also something possibly dangerous judging by Haimeak’s line, look and expression. I will change her line here when we get to the part, it’s just something temporrary & I will change her muzzle to be straighter a bit, cause currently it looks a little to the right. & I will add little preview of the scene once we have it.

It took me either 2 or 3 weeks? I donno i can’t remember but it was lil challenge which was really really fun to do, today i finally tweaked it to the point it’s proper enough and also lined it. @atoxicwasteland take it as gift, also hope you like it^^

Sorry for the sketchy bushes, i was lazy in trying to do leafs, also i kinda suck at bushes. But i promise to try something when i color. I did use a picture for refrence, which was the exact idea for the scene. When i saw it i was like “Hey Karii and Haimeak would make an awesome appearnce in this.”
Also the empty and roughly parts are rocks around them mostly, or mainly behind Haimeak, for a cliff since it’s the path they walked to get here. [by my thought XD]
I also just noticed how it looks maybe funny that i have the comupter mouse in the shot and my lining pencil and sketch pencil are in the shot aswell lol

But i’m planning on little plot twist/possible surprise - involing Cylex mainly, you’ll see once we get there eventually, but not in the rush, ok?Let’s take our time. Drew some Karii babies. My friend @musicsandneons has a new Karii. They're a closed species but she is a very near and dear friend of mine so I was more than happy to give her her own. I relate myself a lot to Newt so I said hey! Let's draw a Newt Scamander Karii! So yeah! Enjoy!
