i'm just putting this date here, with these specific tags, for no reason.

i hope those of you reading this, the fans of Interview with the Vampire (2022-), can put the pieces together and figure out what this date could mean without me having to say the words

if this is true, deadline for emmy submissions for primetime series is 5/9 so this is disappointing…. amc about to fumble the one year in their favor for a legit shot

There might still be hope! The submission deadline is May 9, but the eligibility is for shows "originally presented June 1, 2023 - May 31, 2024." So as long as the first episode airs before May 31, I think it qualifies? It's possible that the nomination packages are prepared in advance with whatever footage AMC has in the can.

Still it will mean only the first three (or four, if they drop the first two in the first week) episodes eligible for Emmys. And we know the most acting demanding ones very probably are Ep 5 and 8. Unless, they drop all season at once ala Netflix (which I personally think ruin the experience).

Just jumping in here to say that nor Deadline nor Huffpost have or ever had any exclusive info about the show's release. I’m in touch with a few other big networks and the people who cover IWTV and they said announcements such as this are not usually exclusive. If there was a press announcement we would know the date already.

The reason why Deadline and Huffpost listed it under May was because it was the most likely release month with all the recent info and other announcements from AMC (I elaborate on this in my article). Previously it might as well have been April, but keep in mind that the only source claiming this was a cast member. Cast members aren't usually informed RIGHT AWAY if there are changes in scheduling, AMC deals with that on its own and when the schedule is confirmed only then the creative team is informed. I’m pretty sure this decision was made before the new year.

So I normally don’t do call out posts but with this one I find its of great importance to make one. Especially since I know quite a few people who are involved. So to get to it there is this Facebook Group called Lestat Lovers who have collected any and all images regarding Lestat. I mean fan groups in and of themselves are fine but the problem with this one is they have stolen many pieces of work made by fan artists in the IWTV community. Some of these artists include @verymerrymart @slashpiper @suikamelon6 @moderndaylestat @vkylocifer @nasnyys @takkyb1 just to name a few but, I’m sure there are probably dozens of other images that have been taken without permission or credit for that matter. This is important to call out because calling what it is, it’s THEFT. And the two individuals behind this Lestat Lovers page Ivy Corinne and Kianna Kitter Ramussen

Below I will attach screenshots of some of the work that has been stolen as well as some other info regarding the two individuals behind this group. I don’t know if this post will do much but I think it’s important to make this known amongst the community. Especially as it concerns individuals who seem to have very malicious intent towards anyone that opposes them. This isn’t right or okay and hopefully they will either disband the group or take the work down but even that may be hoping for too much. Lastly, fan artists work VERY hard on their craft and it’s not always easy making art let alone fan art. To disrespect that so much and have no remorse is disgusting behavior and hopefully the two behind this group will get what they deserve.

This is outrageous. Many of these people pull up the excuse of “oh, but the artist is not on Facebook so I can’t tag them!”. Aight, that doesn’t make it suddenly respectful to take their content, repost it without their name anywhere in sight and pretend like it’s all good.

Another funny response I myself got in return for respectfully reminding to credit others’ content was “but their name/initials are in the picture!” 😔😔🪓
