So Jenna hates Cecile? Can we get one mother daughter relationship without negative bullshit? They did it on Arrow with Laurel and her mom, and then Felicity and her mom. Iris had issues with Francine, Nora treated Iris like dirt. Also why is Cecile still around? She is a bad lawyer, she contributes nothing of value and her powers are like Caitlin's medical knowlege written into the plot for convience. What your thoughts?

I feel like the show was trying to say that Jenna is a regular teen, and Cecile is fed up and what not, but it just came across as Cecile invading Jenna's privacy by reading her mind. Plus, like when you account for the fact that Jenna was basically abandoned by Cecile as a kid... WELL.

Anyways, yes, I'm really, really frustrated by the lack of positive mother/daughter relationships on The Flash. Every single time, the show has to cause conflict between mother and daughter.

Also, yeah, I'm really not a fan of what they've done with Cecile's character at all.

But thank goodness that there's none of that with Iris and Nora II. They have such a sweet mother/daughter relationship, and I need to see more of my fave mom and daughter onscreen again. That deleted scene when Nora gave her mom the same necklace Iris will gift her on her sixteenth birthday to wear at the vow renewal ceremony was just so, so cute. More of that wholesome mother/daughter content.

Do you think Candice or Carlos would talk about the shit that went on behind the scenes? I also am praying Candice will write that article on white feminism because I know she said she wanted too!

I can see Candice publishing an article on white feminism alluding to her own personal experiences in the near future, but I don’t think she would talk explicitly about things that happened behind-the-scenes until enough distance and time has been placed between her and the show. And Carlos seems like he might throw shade or spill a little bit of tea here and there during random interviews years from now lol

the crossover was antisemitic racist garbage that should never have been filmed and black lightning is officially the only good dctv show! yay!

honestly, flashpoint should’ve come after this season or even the flash season after that (god forbid we get one), and that should’ve been the reboot that fixed every part of these damn hell shows. for now, some quick fixes:

stop calling sara the white canary.

replace nate heywood with a disabled filipino actor who can actually, you know, act.

no more evil speedsters or dumb fuck ableist plotlines

recast every single abled actor cast to play a disabled person and remember that jax has a disability
