So it has been driving me insane seeing these snippets over the last year or so cause I am so far behind (like 2015 behind) on X-Men outside of my girl Ms. Kinney: are Kitty and Emma dating now??? Last I saw them the fact that Kitty wasn't trying to kill Emma was a bit of a massive step.

They’re not dating, no, but they’re basically at a point where it could happen. And now Kitty is confirmed-Bi, too (Emma was confirmed years ago but a lot of people forget that)

back in whedon’s astonishing run is where they first reached a kind of frienemies status with mutual respect, which occasionally got forgotten afterwards but was still very much present in the background of their interactions

then in the current run we see emma and kate putting a lot of trust in each other, quite literally flirting with each other, and then when kate went through one of those temporary death things the x-men so frequently do, we see emma actually devastated by it, like she gets alone and then collapses to her knees and wonders what she’s going to do without her

then after kate is resurrected they have a romantic horseback ride on the beach and I’m living (also jokes about the last thing kate remembers being kissing emma, emma practically clinging to her, etc)

I read that! It is A Good Book, and I liked it very much. It’s been a few months so I don’t have a full review off the top of my head, but it’s the medieval wlw fantasy novel we all deserve. Link to purchase

I’m sorta new around here (Paladin was a gateway drug as it turned out) and I was wondering: what sort of caster do you prefer between the three arcane classes?

Hello and welcome! With the years, there is more and more to visit around here.

I’ve always had a weakness for wizards, of course. Probably because I discovered my love for fantasy in general with them. But sorcerers and warlocks both have a special place in my heart as well. The first one for the obvious coolness of natural magic powers and the second for the lovecraftian vibes one can easily get from them.

No bother! Marauders, part of the powers of x/house of x stuff, there’s some stuff in other comics from this era too but I haven’t paid too much attention to them yet but I mean to. Marauders is the only one I’ve really read so far lol

Thoughts on whatever D&D class is your favorite.

The information here will be based on 5th edition, as it’s the one I’ve played the most and am most familiar with.

Presently, I think my favorite class is the Bard. My current favorite character is Jerodin, who’s a half-elf bard, and he’s just a blast to play.

Bards have a lot of versatility, being able to hold their own in combat, use magic, and even act as support with buffs and healing spells. They truly are jacks of all trades.

I think my favorite aspect about them though is their charisma. I love to role play, and the high charisma of a bard feels really at home in role play scenarios. Jerodin dips a little bit into the cliche bard tropes of being a silver-tongued seducer, but I don’t lean super hard into it beyond his exterior aesthetic, with him being far more confident in his skills with an instrument or his ability to talk himself through a situation. Those are things I really love having him do, and things I love seeing in a role play.

If I had to specify any kind of downside, it’s that using their instruments in a meaningful way seems difficult at times. In combat, it can seem clunky trying to pull out your lute in the middle of a sword fight to cast a spell, and then you’re kind of just left holding it a lot of the time, and if you want to dual wield (like Jerodin has lately started doing with a pair of awesome scimitars he got), you really have to figure out whether you want to focus on combat or have the ability to cast certain spells. Obviously not all bard spells need an instrument/material components to use, but some of the more interesting ones do. All that said, having your character have to make those choices, especially on the fly, can be really fun.

Sinking realization: to see all the content and answer all my questions in three houses I’m eventually gonna have to play an eagles run and stand against Edelgard (IT WAS FINE WITH THE LIONS THE FIRST TIME WHEN I HARDLY KNEW HER BUT NOW!!!).

I DID EDELGARD FIRST AND I’M GOING AGONIZINGLY SLOWLY THROUGH BLUE LIONS BECAUSE I!!! DON’T!!! WANNA!!!! HURT EDELGARD!!!!!
