Ingredients: 8 chicken drumsticks. 1 cup buttermilk. 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1 tablespoon paprika. 1 tablespoon garlic powder. 1 tablespoon onion powder. 1 teaspoon salt. 1 teaspoon black pepper. 1 teaspoon dried thyme. 1 teaspoon dried oregano. 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper. Vegetable oil for frying.
Instructions: Put chicken drumsticks in a bowl and cover them with buttermilk. Put it in the fridge with the lid on for at least 4 hours, or overnight if possible. Spices like thyme, oregano, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, and paprika should all be mixed together in a shallow dish. Take the chicken out of the buttermilk and let the extra drip off. Coat the chicken in the flour mixture, then shake off any extra. In a large skillet or Dutch oven, heat the vegetable oil to 350F 175C. Fry the chicken in small groups for 10 to 12 minutes, turning it over every so often, until it's golden brown and fully cooked. Put paper towels down to dry. Enjoy while hot!
