I haven’t been posting Cats Talking Words very on schedule for the past couple months due to working on a new minicomic, oops! But that minicomic, called “You Smell Like Pancakes”, is 99% finished with lineart inking, and here are some process photos!

This comic is a collection of true short stories, based on my experiences as a Sunday school teacher for pre-schoolers. (Kids are just the most entertaining people, in my opinion.)

Done with Bombay ink/brush on a lightbox from rough (read: extremely messy) drawings, lettered/ballooned with Pilot felt tip/B nib with Bombay. It’ll be toned with watercolor, and printed in grayscale with a hand-stamped cover. I should have copies ready before Gem City Comicon (Dayton OH) in April. 😃🖌
