I have been waiting to read Issue #69 on my Kindle app and It was definitely worth the wait. I really enjoyed reading the Issue and the Sonic Riders theme In the comic as well.

One of my reading goals for this year is to finish reading the series I’ve started in the past couple of years, or to at least make more progress towards finishing them.

I started re-reading The Hunger Games Trilogy around Christmas 2019, and the rest of the series has been sitting on my Kindle Unlimited shelf since then. So, last week, I finally started reading Catching Fire in an attempt to make it through the rest of this series. I had to set it down for a couple of days to read for book club, but I was able to finish this tonight!

The Hunger Games Trilogy is one of my favorite young adult series and I’m so glad I’m re-reading the series. This is one of those series that I feel was missing a lot when it transitioned from book to movie, and while I love the movies and Jennifer Lawrence as Katiniss, the books will always be so much better.

The kindle app added at some point three new fonts, including Open Dyslexic!

Anyone else hate the new highlight colors in the kindle app? I highlighted quotes with a specific color code and now one of the colors is a completely different one and it’s so ugly and doesn’t fit the vibe of the mood I used the blue for.

It was also a change I wasn’t prepared for which my neurospicy brain is just not dealing with very well😅

Urgh. I wish they changed it back
