After a long hiatus from the fiber arts world I have finally decided to finish my rolags from bakewell hearts. I’m happy to be getting back to my hobbies. I am hoping to be able to relax and just enjoy this for myself.
After extensive discussion it recently came up that our roommate wanted to move back in with her family, with my fiancée and myself both deciding to move down to mine. We need to move myself, my fiancée, our things, and our cat from Indiana to Georgia to be with my parents. While we're saving wha...
I really do not like thinking of this, and bringing it up, I almost feel like I’m a bother for even posting this here, but Kinra and I could really use some help if anyone’s able to. His work closed, 3 weeks before they said they would, so our move funds got eaten up in the meantime while he worked on getting another job... This move is really super important to us, not only because of the need for it, but also because it’ll probably help my health a little bit to be in an easier sort of environment. Warmer weather and the like, as well.
Even reblogs/shares will help, so anything anyone can do towards this is appreciated.
After taking a break from yarn making and fiber arts, I’m back to it with a renewed passion. Im excited to make so many more beautiful things.
Never ending project is finished!
It’s made of a BFL roving that I got from Pigeonroof on etsy :)
I made one skein a two-ply and after I filled a bobbin with that I got bored so I chain-plied the rest of my singles for funsies.I honestly like the chain-plied one a little better but I chain-ply everything and wanted to switch it up.
This is honestly probably the finest and most consistent I have ever spun. I didn't even count the yardage because I knew I would get bored and lose count.
Finished the project I had on my Sample-it loom. I really enjoyed weaving on this loom as opposed to my 24 inch loom, but I don’t really know what I am going to make with this skinny of a fabric.
Spinning art yarn with out the art yarn wheel! Spindle art yarns are totally possible :) I also enjoy the experience of spinning them better.
