Okay, I saw the part in the noob!reader post about Kirby. I love Kirby and would love a Kirby!reader in hazbin hotel. Like how he is cute but can consume worlds and everyone is just like *pikachu shocked face*, same with him being able to pull out random weapons from his abilities. I can imagine he got there from a new weird portal and meta knight is like “where is he NOW?”.
Kirby is a being of chaos and I love him ❤️
I ALSO LOVE KIRBBY I WAS A BIG KIRBY KIN💗💗 🦆
HAZBIN HOTEL X KIRBY! READER
prompt: you lost the sight of your best friend only to be somewhere completely different.
Meta knight was walking ahead of you as you picked up flowers with your cute smile. “Poyo!” You said smiling ready to show meta knight your flowers you picked up into a bouquet.
When all of a sudden, you were getting pulled into a red portal as you screamed out to meta knight who seemed to be in his own world.
“POYO! POYO!” You then get sucked in as meta knight turns to see nothing. “Reader/Kirby?…..where is he NOW!” Meta knight exclaims, his accent thickening in worry as he runs around the area calling out your name.
Meta was basically that Brandon rogers meme when he lost his “child” 😭
You swirl in the portal to get thrown out and roll into the feet of a person. “Oh my! Are you okay sweetie?” The sweet voice says as she picks you up. Charlie looked worry seeing you dizzy. “Poyoo..” you said with a dazed out look from your trip of the portal.
Charlie took you in her hotel, getting you water and suited to rest as vaggie checks up. After 24 hours, they kept you as you became part of the hotel staff.
I headcannon you once accidentally swallowed Angel because you saw him as a regular spider. You literally transformed into his color palette before Charlie made you cough him up.
Angel was so traumatized 😭
I imagine you literally almost ending hell’s population by yourself cause you were hungry..you dead ass ran through the streets eating random shit. Thank goodness Lucifer picked you up and ran.
You once walked into Lucifer brain storming and he saw you…he immediately had a new idea for his duck creation. He made you stay in his room until Charlie said it was your bed time.
Vaggie always keep tabs on you so you don’t cause trouble around the pride ring and the hotel.
IMAGINE HOW YOU LITERALLY ATE A BUILDING…A FUCKING BUILDING AND HUSK WHO TOOK YOU FOR A ERRAND STROLL WAS LIKE
The egg boiz
Nahh cause you definitely had swallowed up the egg boiz to have a egg shell around you to hide in the egg shell like an ability.
Sir Pentious is always scared of the fact of you just eating him. But you don’t cause you literally get fed chips by the bar. So Pentious calms down and lets you have some time with him
Lucifer would probably make you inhale one of his rubber ducks so you can have a duck beak and wings just so he can chase you around with heart eyes excited that his hyperfixation became real
You have a duck hat and a duck pj set. ALSO WITH AN APPLE THEME SET WHICH IS FAMOUS IN MORNINGSTAR FAMILY ❤️❤️
I can see you always following Alastor like the egg boiz did in “scrambled eggs” 😭 except you just waddle beside him cutely
“Poyoooo… poyoooo..” you said softly as you tug on Alastor’s pant leg. Alastor looks down slightly entertained by your language and gesture for him to look at you.
“Well aren’t you an eager little thing…” alastor says picking you up and taking you to show Rosie his new found friend.
Husk once
STOP IT CAUSE WHAT IF YOU INHALED A KNIFE AND EQUIPPED IT ONLY YOU BE THAT FUCKIN MEME WITH KIRBY HOLDING A KNIFE😭😭
YOU WOULD STAB SOMEONE’S TOES AND KNEES YOU ABSOLUTE MENACE!!‼️
You definitely stood outside of the Vee’s tower holding the knife with a smile as Valentino looks so scared closing his curtains.
#justiceforangeldust
Angel dust loves you to the point he might adopt you as a sibling since you are pink like him.
Charlie and vaggie are the parents who maintain what you eat and sleep. Dead as you were gonna eat a butterfly when vaggie picked you up like “NOPE! NOT TODAY!” And took you inside for the rest of the time-
See I can personally just imagine that Kirby gif where Kirby eats the whole ass meal on the table. So imagine the crew’s face seeing you do that shit 😭
I can see you getting on fat nuggets and just start to ride fat nuggets like a cowboy 😭💗
Angel definitely recorded it as you just smile while fat nuggets runs around the hotel freely.
I headcannon you bought a bunch a flowers for the crew and the was so adorable how you just picked each flower matching the cast’s colors
Imagine you just watching a hell cartoon and Vox is like “kill them! Kill your entire family” as you jolted shocked and cry at the scary tv man
Niffty once fed you dust particles thinking it wouldn’t affect you…it did cause you coughed and got sick. Niffty cried, not thinking it would harm you as she sniffles giving you soup in your room.
Niffty was banned from making lunch for you😭
Alastor be trying to troll you into eating cannibal meat, like dead ass he would make you a sandwich with “turkey” meat. But you could already smell THE MUSSTTT 🤮
So he failed with that mission. But at least you like his radio station and his jazz music.
Charlie brought you to her meeting with the first man so she can feel comfortable as you are kinda like her service animal.
Adam actually would like you cause you love to eat endlessly and you are pick up size. This mf will literally pick you up with one hand and dribble you like a basketball or treat you like a damn football💀
“Hey lute! Go long!” “Yes sir!” Lute replies back as she moves back far. Adam launches you making you scream as lute flies up and catches you.
“GOALLLL! FUCK YEAH!” Lute says accidentally throwing you off of the cloud floor they were on. “LUTE WTF?!” Adam yells looking at you fall before a portal had eaten you up. “Well damnit…I was gonna miss that lil pink shit.” Adam says before walking away with lute close behind him
Meta knight is back at home was tweaking out as he literally sobs eating with a picture of you on the table. He misses you deeply as he stares at the photo before looking down. “My friennnd…” he says with a sniffle as he covers his face.
Good ending was that you plopped down on the table from the portal as meta immediately hugs you as you smiled happily, showing him the flowers. You guys ate dinner happily!
Chrs: Mario, Yoshi, DK, Link, Samus, Fox, Kirby, Luigi and Captain Falcon
Reader is GN!
Mario:
Baking a cake with Mario is an absolute joy ride. His enthusiasm is infectious as he hums Italian tunes and expertly guides you through the recipe. He’s a natural in the kitchen, treating it like an art form(From Princess Peach's Influence), but also leaving room for fun. He’s constantly taste-testing the batter and frosting with a wink, saying it’s "important to get it just-a right!" You both work seamlessly, though sometimes he gets a bit distracted when he starts tossing dough in the air like he’s flipping a pizza. In the end, the cake is flawless, and Mario proudly presents it as if you’ve both created a masterpiece together.
Yoshi:
Yoshi is incredibly eager to help, though a little clumsy in the kitchen. He loves tasting everything as you go along, sometimes sticking his tongue out too far and accidentally eating part of the ingredients. Despite this, his positive energy keeps you both laughing the entire time. You’ll have to keep an eye on him, though—leave the sugar alone for too long, and Yoshi will have eaten half of it. But once the cake is baked, Yoshi is so excited that he does a little happy dance, making the entire experience heartwarming and full of smiles.
Donkey Kong(DK):
Donkey Kong is surprisingly gentle in the kitchen despite his large frame, rowdyness and strength. He’s determined to help, though you’ll notice he can’t resist tossing bananas into the mix, even if it’s not a banana cake. You work together to mix the ingredients, with DK carefully following your instructions while occasionally sneaking bites of bananas and batter. His favorite part is the decorating—he insists on using extra bananas on top as garnish. In the end, the cake might not be traditional, but it’s definitely delicious and full of DK’s quirky charm.
Link:
Baking with Link is a quiet but calming experience. He’s not too much of a talker, but he follows your instructions with sharp precision, taking everything seriously. He might be a bit unsure about how to bake at first, but once he gets the hang of it, he’s fully focused. You share peaceful moments while mixing the batter and frosting, occasionally exchanging soft smiles. He takes care in every step, as if baking the cake is a mission. When it’s time to decorate, you both enjoy adding personal touches, making the final product as charming as it is delicious.
Samus:
Baking with Samus is efficient and organized(plus you get to see her out of her suit for a while...or at least her beautiful blonde hair as she doesn't have her helmet on). She’s precise with every measurement and action, turning the cake-baking process into a well-structured mission. While she’s not particularly emotional about the process, she surprises you with little moments of fun, like using her arm cannon to quickly whisk the batter or heat the oven. The end result is a cake that’s not only delicious but also expertly crafted. Samus might not be super expressive, but the small smile she gives when she sees the finished cake tells you she enjoyed the experience more than she lets on.
Fox:
Fox is all about teamwork in the kitchen. He takes charge but lets you take the lead where you want. You’ll notice him frequently checking the time and trying to make sure everything is on schedule, like a mission briefing. He’s fast but careful, and his competitive nature shows when he tries to perfect every step. Fox is also surprisingly playful, teasing you about your frosting skills or sneaking a bit of the cake mix while grinning. The cake turns out perfect, and he’s happy to share it with you, giving you a playful nudge, “We make a great team, huh?”
Kirby:
Baking with Kirby is pure chaos in the best way possible. He’s more interested in eating than baking, so you’ll have to keep him from gobbling up the ingredients before they even make it into the bowl. Kirby’s enthusiasm is unmatched, though, and he constantly tries to help—even if it’s just him licking the spoon or cleaning up the leftover frosting. Expect him to inhale bits of the cake as soon as it comes out of the oven, but when he finally settles down to share what’s left, "Poyo!" he’s all smiles and excitement, ready to enjoy your creation together.
Luigi:
Luigi is a little nervous in the kitchen, but he’s incredibly helpful and sweet. He often second-guesses himself, asking, “Is this okay?” or “Are you sure that’s enough?” but he’s so genuine that you can’t help but reassure him. You both share lots of laughter, especially when things go a little off track, like when Luigi accidentally splatters batter everywhere. By the end, the cake might be a little messy, but it’s full of love and care. Luigi is proud of the final product, especially since he got to bake it with you, and he happily shares a piece, blushing a little as he says it turned out great.
Captain Falcon:
Baking with Captain Falcon is intense and high-energy. He approaches the task like a race, moving quickly and shouting things like “Falcon Mix!” as he stirs the batter at lightning speed(whist making a bit of a mess). His enthusiasm is contagious, and you both end up laughing as he tries to make everything as epic as possible, even when it’s something simple like cracking an egg. The cake is finished in record time, and though it may not be the most neatly made, it’s definitely delicious. Falcon pats you on the back, grinning wide, “We totally smashed it!”
Summary: After Ghostface leaves his mark in NYC, you're tasked with helping the survivors pick up the pieces. But you and Kirby have a past, and you're not sure she's willing to look past it to let you help.
Word Count: 3.3k
Warnings: swearing, Scream typical violence
Pairing: Kirby Reed x Fem!Reader
You had missed the initial pandemonium of Ghostface. It wasn’t entirely predetermined. You just… didn’t watch the news. After Woodsboro, you knew better than to keep your eyes on the goings on in town, and New York City was certainly no exception. If anything, you avoided people more. It was for the best.
When you had finally been called in, you weren’t entirely shocked. Charlie had been proof enough that the concept of Ghostface would never fade, and there would always be someone around willing to be more extravagant than the last to make history. No one would ever be free; victims would keep suffering for nothing. And you would be there to help pick up the pieces.
If they would let you.
After the last Woodsboro attack, you had been called. Sam had done fairly well with her temporary therapy, allowing you to talk with her about whatever she wanted. You bonded over the inconvenient relationship to past killers; it was easy to tell she found comfort in knowing your brother had been Ghostface.
“You turned out alright?” She asked.
“I like to think so.”
“Then so will I.”
Tara was a whole other beast, and you hadn’t gotten more than a few words out of her. When she stopped answering your calls, you took it as a sign to leave her alone. No point in pushing an uncomfortable subject.
Walking into the hospital and seeing the Carpenter sisters again was… well, it was something.
“Just can’t stay away, can you?” Tara asked when you knocked on the open doorway to the hospital room.
“You know, it’s weird,” you said, “it’s almost like trauma’s in my blood.”
“Humour. Nice.”
You smiled at Tara; she was a likeable kid. Sorry, young adult. Traumatised, but she already seemed much more willing to talk. You were working, obviously, but it was nice to sit and talk with the Carpenters. About their trauma, the events, everything - you were just a speedy, glorified shoulder to cry on honestly - but then about them. How they had been over the past year, college, work, anything.
“Chad and Mindy will probably talk too,” Sam said when you stood up to start making your rounds.
And she was right. Mindy was still fairly high on medication - understandable - and Chad was busy asking about Tara. Cute, but not helpful. The twins had no clue on your relationship to their case, or they didn’t care. You didn’t know and honestly, it didn’t matter. They were more than happy to talk with you, and Mindy even called you before you could get to your last visit.
The one you had been dreading.
“Agent Reed? I’m-”
“-Get out.”
Justified reaction.
“Can I get my introduction done first?” You asked. Kirby just glared. “If you kick me out now, I’ll have to come back tomorrow.”
She sighed.
“And the next day, and the day after that, and the-”
“-Fine, just say it.”
A small win.
“I’m Miss Walker, and I’m your trauma support specialist.”
Kirby raised a bruised brow and scoffed. “Isn’t that just an overpaid shoulder to cry on?”
There it was, your true issue with Kirby. She knew your mind all too well. She was smart, intuitive, and downright mean. You couldn’t see much of the physical trauma, only the wounds on her face, and you were sick to your stomach. Perhaps it was something about reliving the past, you weren’t sure.
“You don’t have to talk to me if you-”
“-Good, then get out.”
Dammit, Kirby, you thought. But you couldn’t argue with her. Even under the best of circumstances, if someone told you to leave then you would. They could call and you would answer, but there was no obligation for any sort of care. At least Kirby had a better handle on it than most.
“Are you sure?” You asked anyway.
The look on Kirby’s face slapped you back to highschool. Sitting in class, sharing a look that said she was not interested in what the teacher was saying. Usually it happened during science, and you shared the look before you both laughed, hiding it before the teacher looked in your direction again.
It wasn’t so fun to have the look directed at you instead.
“I don’t want to talk to you,” she said, pushing herself up with her arms until she was sitting straight. “I don’t want to see you, I don’t want to hear your name, I don’t even want to be reminded you exist.”
Your heart lodged itself in your throat.
“Now get the fuck out of my room.”
You were already nodding before she finished talking. Her finger was pointed at the door behind you. Even before everything you had never been able to argue with her. If Kirby had ever told you to jump, you would’ve asked “how high?” Now that she was telling you to leave?
“Yes ma’am,” you said softly. You took one of the business cards from your pocket and carefully, slowly walked forward to set it on the table by her bed. “In case you change your mind.”
“Get out.”
With pursed lips, you walked back to the doorway. Something stilled your feet before you could leave. You turned around and faced the woman who, against all attempts to deny it, you still harbored feelings for. And she couldn’t have hated you more.
“I am sorry,” you said. She was silent. “About everything.”
“Walker.” She choked on the name. “Leave.”
And you did. You looked at her for a few seconds longer, then turned and walked out of the room. A ghostly hand reached into your chest and clenched around your heart, squeezing every bit of life out of it. No use in hoping for the impossible. With a deep breath, you straightened your back and continued walking.
Then answered the phone to listen to more of Mindy’s theories.
—---
The doorbell echoed through the house. You called for your mom to answer, but no one responded. With a huff, you pushed back from your desk. In the background, menu music from The Matrix filled your room and spilled out into the hallway when you pushed the door open.
Over your stomping down the stairs, you heard your mom’s voice. She screamed for your dad, and you stopped, frozen. Something was wrong. Your palms were slick with sweat. Quietly, you took another few steps down to see the doorway and hear better.
“Your son has been involved in an incident.”
Your parents argued with the police, and your mind ran in circles. What were they talking about? Charlie wouldn’t be involved in anything, he was a nerd! At most he had gotten drunk with Robbie and had been out trying to talk to girls. Was that really worth the cops coming to your home? It was kind of stupid of-
“-Your son was Ghostface.”
A gasp ripped through your throat. The room was dark, and something heavy was resting on your leg. You reached down quickly, and the thing jumped. Mumbled apologies spewed past your lips as your dog, Ghost, cuddled herself back up to your legs, only slightly annoyed at the interruption to her sleep.
The low sound of your ringtone reached your ears. Your hand slapped your nightstand a few times before finally landing on it, bringing to your ear so fast the phone hit your face. You swore softly as you answered, not even bothering sitting up.
“Hello?”
“Hey.”
You rubbed your eyes with your free hand and tried to blink the sleep away.
“Kirby?”
She sighed on the other end of the phone. “Yeah.”
“Are you okay?” The sleep wouldn’t leave your eyes, but you rubbed until they stung. “Where are you?”
The other end of the call was silent. Against Ghost’s wishes, you sat up, shifting her until you could get comfortable. The clock on your nightstand read 3:02am. Far too early for any sort of call, especially this one.
“Kirby?” You asked softly.
“Are you home?”
“I-,” you exhaled quickly, “-yeah.” You cleared your throat. “Yeah, I’m home.”
“Can we talk?”
Butterflies swarmed in your stomach. Kirby wanted to come over? To your house? Willingly? Even given the potential circumstances you couldn’t help but choke on your fluttering heart. She was going to talk to you. She was really going to talk to you again.
“Listen, just forget it-”
“-No, it’s okay,” you said quickly. “You can come over.”
The call ended quickly. You pulled the phone from your ear, squinting at the bright, empty screen. Doubt instantly wracked your mind. Maybe it was just part of your nightmare, renewed after seeing Kirby a few months ago. It wouldn’t have surprised you, the strangest things kicked the nightmares up again.
But just in case…
“Come on,” you whispered, lightly shoving the furry lump on your bed, “we’re having a guest.”
She grumbled and glared at you before curling back up, ignoring your gentle prompting. Fine, she could stay a party pooper. You got up and stumbled over to your closet, flinching when the light stabbed itself into your retinas. What should you wear? Probably not pajamas, but not business casual either, right? Sweats? Sweats.
You were still struggling with your shirt when the doorbell rang, prompting your dog to growl but remain curled up. A weight pressed on your chest, shoving your heart into a tiny box and locking it away. You wanted to throw up, but you pushed that down too as you opened the door.
“Hi,” you barely whispered. No, this had to be professional. Professional. You cleared your throat and tried again. “Hi, come in.”
Kirby looked like shit, though you’d never say it aloud. The dark circles under her eyes would put a raccoon to shame. She was wearing a dark leather jacket and jeans that looked like they were nearing the time for a wash.
“Would you like-”
“-Don’t move,” Kirby said quickly. You stopped moving and half heartedly raised your empty hands.
“Okay,” you said in as calming a tone as you could manage.
“Any weapons in the house?”
Right. She was traumatised and FBI.
“No guns,” you said. “I think my pocket knife and mace are in the office behind me,” you gestured with your thumb. “I’ve got a magnetic knife strip in the kitchen, to your right.”
“Stay here.”
You let your hands fall to your sides as Kirby searched your house; you didn’t mind. It wasn’t like there was much in your house anyway. Sure, you had some newspaper clippings of Charlie - the only real reminders of him now - and all the Stab movies, but that was about it. Maybe Gale’s book would count as suspicious too. Ah, probably not.
Kirby walked back into the entryway with more peace than she had entered. Trailing right on her heels was Ghost, happy as a pig in mud. When Kirby stopped, she did too, sitting happily beside her feet.
“Some guard dog,” Kirby teased.
“She’s a therapy dog,” you answered. You pretended not to notice Kirby slowly combing her fingers through your dog’s hair. “Want some coffee?”
“Sure.”
Without moving too quickly, you led the way back to the kitchen. You locked eyes with Kirby as you opened the cabinets and got everything ready. It may have been inappropriate, but you didn’t want her to think you were doing something nefarious. That you were Charlie.
“They let you do this without a gun?” Kirby asked.
“Why would I need a gun?” You asked hesitantly.
“Victims are crazy.” She looked like you were crazy for not knowing such a thing.
You placed one of your mugs in front of her and filled it up. “Are you self-projecting?”
“Are you calling me crazy?”
“Are you calling you crazy?”
Kirby rolled her eyes at you. Beside her, Ghost stayed practically curled around her legs, doing what she did best. If Kirby put two-and-two together, she didn’t show it. You wouldn’t be the one to bring it up.
“Why would I be crazy?” She asked.
“Maybe because you were targeted by a masked entity twice?” You suggested. She rolled her eyes. “That would be enough to scare anyone into temporary insanity at the least.”
“That’s ridiculous, that’s like saying you’re scared of the Easter Bunny.”
You took a sip of your coffee and stared her right in the eyes. “I am scared of the Easter Bunny.”
“Seriously?” Kirby asked incredulously.
“Yes?” You set your mug down. “Why would a humanoid rabbit be giving candy to children?” Kirby scoffed. “It’s romanticised child predation, Kirby.”
“You know, I don’t think I’m the crazy one here,” she said.
You held your tongue. Kirby sat fully relaxed at the other side of your counter. As far as you could remember, you hadn’t seen her that relaxed since Charlie. You missed this Kirby. The one who always spoke her mind and never regretted a single instance. When you were younger, you swore you would marry this Kirby or die trying.
Perhaps Charlie felt the same way, he just took it a bit more literally.
“Do they still talk to you?” She asked.
“Yes,” you answered, already knowing where she was going. A trick you had picked up back in high school. Who would’ve thought it would come in handy now?
“That’s breaking confidentiality,” she said with a relaxed smile, her grip loose on the mug handle.
“Not when an FBI agent is asking,” you replied with the same smile. “Besides,” you leaned forward on the counter, getting just a little closer to her, “I didn’t give any PPI.”
She rolled her eyes. “I mean Sam and Tara Carpenter.”
“That’s confidential,” you replied quickly, ignoring the eye roll and huff you got in return.
“You know that actually answers my question, right?”
“Why are you here, Kirby?” You asked.
Having her in your kitchen healed a part of your soul that you swore would never be repaired. Having her and Ghost just right there, right within arms reach. It was like having a family again. The first time since Charlie had to fuck everything up.
Kirby looked down into her mug. “I can’t just stop by and talk to an old friend?”
“No,” you half-laughed. “Not when you’ve hated my guts since Charlie.”
“I haven’t hated you-”
“No?” You interrupted. “The first time we spoke was at the hospital a few months ago, do you remember what you said?” Kirby remained silent. “You said, and I quote, ‘I don’t want to talk to you. I don’t want to see you, I don’t want to hear your name, I don’t even want to be reminded you exist.’”
Pain settled softly into your chest. You wanted the old Kirby back. The one who would have never said such a thing to you. You were an adult, you could handle your emotions well, but it hurt. It hurt to know you had lost someone for something you hadn’t even done. Charlie left too many casualties in his wake.
Kirby looked down into her half-full mug. She absent-mindedly curled her fingers through Ghost’s hair, who was still more than happy to enjoy the late night love. A sigh fell from your lips. She had suffered too. You weren’t the only one with hidden wounds.
“I’m sorry,” you said gently. “That wasn’t very professional.”
“You’re not wrong,” Kirby said. “I said worse after Charlie too.”
That was an understatement. You had gone through extensive therapy after getting all but thrown out of Kirby’s hospital room 12 years ago. Her words had cut deep and even now they pricked at your heart on occasion.
“I didn’t mean any of it,” she continued.
“No?” You asked. Kirby looked at you with an inquisitive head tilt. “Not even when you called me a perverted glory seeker looking to make a martyr of my brother?”
“I called you that?”
“Loudly,” you nodded. “It left a great mental picture.”
“Jesus, what a bitch.”
“Well, since you said it first.”
You both looked at each other, meeting the other’s eyes before small laughs escaped your lips. Kirby had such a beautiful laugh, effortless and genuine. Her hair fell over her eyes and for just a second she looked just as she had in high school. Happy, carefree, peaceful.
“Can you believe we’re supposed to be the professionals?” Kirby asked.
“They should run better background checks.”
“And put us in psych wards? No thanks.” She laughed and looked back down into her mug. “I missed this.”
“What?” You asked. “Shitty coffee and late nights?”
“Talking to people that understand.”
Something in your chest cracked, nearly causing you to double over. Kirby maintained a small, genuine smile, but there was an extraordinarily specific pain behind it. She wasn’t hiding it, not really. But it was there, behind her eyes, begging and screaming to be listened to and understood.
You knew that feeling. It wasn’t possible to talk to people about Ghostface. They either thought you were kidding, or wanted to know far too many details, leaving you scrubbing your skin raw later that night. None of that even took into account if you felt you could trust them with the fact that you were Charlie’s younger sibling.
It was easier to shy away from the fact.
“Well, you always have a space here,” you finally uttered, pushing through the uncomfortable wall of silence. “Ghost seems to like you here.”
At the gesture of your head, Kirby looked down at the sweet, ridiculous beast. You could have laughed; some beast. Ragged hair - she was due for grooming - and mismatched eyes left little to fear.
Her hand stilled.
“Ghost?” Her head turned sharply to face you. “Seriously?”
“It’s a coping tactic.”
“That’s ridiculous.”
“We all heal differently, Kirby.”
Head in hand, Kirby looked at you with wide doe eyes. It left butterflies not only in your stomach, but crawling over every inch of your skin. Small tingles from your fingertips to your toes, and all because Kirby was looking at you. Pathetic.
“I forgot you were funny.”
“I’m not-.” A sigh squeezed past your barely parted lips. “What can I say,” you shrugged, “trauma breeds humour.”
“Mine just made me angry,” she said with a shrug. “Guess we’re different.”
“I think you can be funny,” you replied. “I mean, look at your outfit.”
Kirby waved her hand dismissively. “Don’t make me hate you again.”
Cold coffee settled on your tongue. A warm blanket settled over your heart. Kirby left a comfort in your kitchen that you couldn’t entirely put into thought, you just felt it. You hoped she felt it too.
“Do you want to stay tonight?” You asked. Her brow raised. “It’s late, and I have a daybed in my office.”
Please say yes.
“Does the door have a lock?” She asked.
“Three,” you said, “and it locks from the inside.”
Her head bobbed up and down slowly, methodically. Thinking. She always thought things through before acting. You remembered hearing from Sidney Prescott how she had thought whether to “save” Charlie or not. Not that it mattered, he tried to kill her instead.
You wouldn’t be upset if she didn’t trust you.
“You’ve got yourself a deal, Walker,” she whispered.
You caught yourself smiling and quickly stamped the butterflies back down. Kirby would be in the office and would undoubtedly lock herself in. If memory served you, she would be gone before you could even get up and make coffee.

Kirby was thrilled to be friends with someone just like him! You two could light up the room together! Even if Kirby was having a rough day, you always cheered him up! He was just the sweetest.
Kirby absolutely adores the way you dress. It’s so bright and colorful! Whenever he’d have colorful food, like lollipops, it would remind him of you! And if you were ever upset or tired, he’d be sure to share some with you. Sweets cheer him up, and he wants you to be happy!
He loves to play with you, too. He’d sometimes go around looking for you, simply to ask to play! Not really “ask”, since he can only say a few words, but he’ll do his best!
Hello! I was wondering if you could write a Taranza x (Male or Gn) Reader? I don't have any prompt in mind, so anything from a drabble or headcanons is good :]
Hi! Sure, I’ll do GN HCs! I’m SO sorry this took so long to write, my past few days have been sort of busy… but here!
Taranza x GN!Reader General HCs
Oh lordy lord he is SUPER clingy!! He will DEMAND your attention, and gets pretty sad if you don’t give it to him
He likes to knit and sew clothing, and would definitely make things for you
He’d also share his favorite books with you! Late night reading sessions are his favorite <3
He’s a on the quieter side of things for sure (and maybe a little airheaded…)
Taranza has multiple hands, so that means that his hugs feel like three! Triple the loving embrace!
As for dates, he loves picnic dates and movie nights
[Notification from Messages: Taranza] “Hi angel, where did you go? :( I’m wanting to see your beautiful face again <3”
He is an affection MACHINE. With his three sets of hands, he can use one to hug you, another to hold your hands, and the third to play with your hair/squish your face!
His love languages are physical touch and acts of service
One more thing: tell him about an upcoming appointment/holiday/important day, he will remember that for the REST OF TIME.
I hope these are alright, once again I’m very very sorry that I didn’t get these out sooner!
“If you ever want to hear more, just let me know!”
